Just had a bit of a selfish thought again and thought I'd share :-)
But, I'll cut it... just in case...
When I was reading the fourth book, I drummed up such a nice scene between Neville and Harry in my mind, with Neville explaining about his parents and Harry confessing that he already knew. It was such a NICE secret and Harry was so good at keeping it- not to mention understanding the hurt of such a situation.
But no, Neville finds out that Harry knows only because he runs into them on the ward when everyone finds out as well. Which was a heartbreaking and LOVELY scene(I broke down sobbing at the candy wrapper part), don't get me wrong! But I would have really liked a heart-to-heart between the two of them- or at least some realization with just the two of them, before everyone else knew as well.
I adore Neville, and I know I think of him too gently at times... but he's such a sweet, sensitive little guy. I think it really would have been nice for him to know that Harry had known for a year but kept the secret because he respected Neville and didn't want to hurt him. I think that would have done a lot for Neville.
Either way of course, Neville kicks some serious butt in the book and I adore him for it :-) Still, I feel guilty but I would have LOVED a nice, private scene with the two of them. Maybe I'm just coddling Neville a bit too much...? I know he's a big boy now... it's just... that would have been such a lovely scene! *sniffles* Ah well.
On a completely unrelated note... I'm going to update TG's Realm this weekend, whether buildpage is up or not. Anyone have any video clips that are on my site but not currently online that they want me to put online? I wanted to fill any requests before just randomly picking and putting some online.
