Nice to be back in my comfy air-comditioned just how I like it apartment. Cat went batty when I got home- apparently thought I'd abandoned him and freaked out when I walked in. Crawled around on his back meowing and purring and kneading his paws into the carpet. That's what I get for taking in an abandoned kitty. But I promised him I wouldn't be going anywhere for a long while.
Reunion was interesting... I've never been to a school/class reunion before (mostly because I detested high school- why would I want to see those people again?) but am considering now maybe going to mine. Er. Assuming I lose 40 lbs between now and then. Everyone was saying how good looking and successfull everyone who showed up was... I kept reminding them that only about 50 people from a class of 170 showed up- so some of the ugly, overweight, unsuccessful ones stayed at home, I betcha :-)
Didn't listen to HP in the car. *sniffles* I brought the subject up 3 times, but nope. Ah well. Had to deal with drunk boyfriend throughout the night. That was fun *rolls eyes* He's a quiet drunk, though. And went out with his sister and mother to lunch & shopping. His mother bought me a $25 shirt. Whoa. And I thought an $8 shirt was living in high class and style. lol Nice family, though. They kept dropping hints about how I have to get used to them treating me if I'm going to be part of their family. And I'm like- um, NO! Marriage baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad! LOL! I can't take care of myself right now, let alone a husband and family! Yikes!
I'm going to clean up the Neville fic and post that, then work hard on my thesis the rest of the day. I can't quite decide how to end the Neville fic... I'm hoping reading it through/editing will give me some idea. Then I'll post it to the lists I think (again, unless someone freaks out and tells me not to!)
