I finally finished my Nevillefic! Yay! I decided just to post to the lotrsneeze group list for now, because it's a little long and I'm not in a double-posting sort of mood. If anyone wants me to put it on sneezefic for some reason, though, just ask.

And like I mentioned, there is sneezing from other characters in there as well... Harry, Ron, Hermione, and a few others (Prof.Sprout, Hagrid, and others of Neville's year).

I've been reading a lot of Neville/Harry lately, so I had to finish with a little scene between the two of them. But Ginny and Hermione get their turns at him, too. But I'll never write a Neville/Malfoy as long as I live, I'll just say that right now! And I didn't come right out and pair him with anyone so feel free to use your imaginations if you're in a 'ship mood.

Awww...poor Gimli! He always gets the short end of the stick, quite unfairly, I think. He's only the single most important person in Legolas' life, and his best friend. Slash or not, I don't like stories that forget about their friendship or pretend that Gimli doesn't exist, just so that Legolas and Aragorn (or Legolas and some Mary Sue) can look pretty together while shagging their brains out.

I'm happy that you've managed to keep Gimli an active part in most of your fics, even if you won't read stories specifially about him. Thanks for the effort!

Oh, that was a delightfully fun read, tarotgal! You captured the 'feel' of a HP book quite well, IMHO. The opening greenhouse scene in particular felt very right, very magical but at the same time scientifically grounded in a way that made sense to me, and felt like it belonged in the HP world. And I think you've just won the award of making the most canon characters in one fandom sneeze all at once! :)

I'm glad you liked the feel... though it probably changed a bit throughout, tone-wise. I always get into odd narritive voices after reading different things- and this time it was HP1 that sort of caught me. So I really was going for a slightly more authentic HP tone.

And I'm glad you liked that scene in the greenhouse... I wish I'd integrated the Hufflepuffs in a bit more, though. And glad the long paragraphs describing the plant weren't too darn boring :-) I feel like they need a bit of a rewrite... ug, I wish I were more creative. Ah well. :-)
