tarotgalAck.... I got really brave tonight and posted my Weiss fic on sneezefic. *nervously bites lip* I don't think it's very good. I think I killed the characters. But it's long and it's got sneezing so I think at this point I'd rather post it and have people enjoy it for the sneezing than try to rewrite it brilliantly and come up with a more accurate story. I've got ideas for others, after all, so I'll consider this a learning experience in the new fandom and go with that. I'm REALLY sorry if it sucks. It's entitled 'Not Far Behind' which is sort of meant to imply the, er, slashiness of Ken/Omi. But it's a PWP H/C Soft Yaoi. I'd like to try writing some harder Yaoi set during the Gluhen... Omi being all big and boss-like and all. I'd like to give him an excuse to go back and stay like in the "old days" And he's so cheerful- he could cheer even a sick Aya up, I'm certain. Either that or Aya would tie him up and roll him around the room for fun. Goodness, I'm off topic, huh?
Finished 'Wolf's Rain' tonight. I don't really get the ending. I was expecting... I dunno... paradise or something! Call me crazy...! But I ADORE Hubb and Cher :-) And I was CRYING when Blue and what's-his-name-the-old-man hugged. *sniffles* And the wolves... man, I love the wolves. I'm really tempted to write a sneezefic about them. Or even a Remus Lupin/Wolf's Rain cross-over fic.
Was out most of the day working, then ate at IHOP (yuuuuuuuummy pancakes!) Then watched Freddy vs. Jason with boyfriend tonight. It wasn't at all as bad as I thought it would be. I didn't smile much, but I certainly didn't hate it. They concentrated a lot on character motivations- which is usually pretty lacking in these types of things. So that was good. And the water/fire ending scene rocked. I'm a sucker for water/fire battles. They have them a number of times in Highlander and never fail to amaze me visually. Boyfriend really liked it, so that's what matters since I only went to see it to make him happy.
Then we watched Highlander episode 'Timeless' where Ducnan's in drag(playing Kate from Taming of the Shrew), there's a debate about mortality and artistic talent, and Methos gets a date. Yep. That's more my kind of thing :-)

Unfortunately, its not a fandom I'm familiar with, so I figure my comments are of little value. I did love the sneezing though, and the hurt/comfort was sweet and realistic. Besides, with sneezy, sexy boys, how much do I really need to understand? I'm feeling spoiled, three fics in one week, TG...and all excellent! I may never have to finish any of my own...[giggles nervously]
At any rate, enough rambling from me...keep up the great work!

I know it's not a very popular fandom... which is another reason I was nervous with posting it. See? Even I get freaked out and nervous and VERY self-conscious when it comes to posting stories!
But I'm glad you enjoyed it for the sneezing aspects if nothing else! If you haven't seen magictoes' page on the boys, check it out- should help you with the imagery if nothing else :-)

But yeah, no need to really understand it to enjoy it... I just hope I didn't kill any of the characters too badly for the sake of a good, general story :-) But I'm glad you liked the h/c(and thought it was realistic- I wasn't sure about that)... I'm sort of on that kick lately, if you hadn't noticed and I tend to blow things up when they shouldn't be for the sake of my own indulging. LOL! And yes, your comments are of GREAT value :-) It's nice to know that it doesn't suck as a normal story at least. And that someone actually read it, for that matter :-) So thanks for taking the time to read and review *G*
