Last Night's Storm

tarotgalThere was a BEAUTIFUL thunderstorm here last night. It started around 6am with a crash of thunder that made both me and my cat jump. The rain poured down in buckets, and I left my computer to go to the window to watch a while. It was still dark out, so I could not see much. I went back to the computer and lightning flashed behind me, lighting my dim room. The storm made my power flicker nicely, and thunder tore from the sky so loudly it dampened the music I was listening to.
It was a beautiful storm. The sky lightened gradually as it went on, so that by around 6:50 when I looked out, everything was a yellowy-orange instead of a gray or black as it had been. Still it poured down in sheets, without much wind so only at a bit of an angle. It was fantastic to watch. I had been awake already, but I wonder how many people in my area slept through it. The thunder was BOOMING right overhead at times, lightning flashing in the windows at the same time. I know it probably travelled up north and caught Hermione this morning (see her journal entry) but inside, at the crack of dawn, it was really a lovely sight to see. I'm glad I didn't miss it.
I'm writing a Remus/Tsume short story right now. Gah. Darn plot bunnies... :-)
Just to clarify, it's not beastiality when two wolves mate, right? Even if one is a werewolf? Gah... I don't know how to label this thing. LOL!
