Elf-Sharing
Aug. 25th, 2003 08:24 amOK, I went ahead and posted my quick little Legolas story on sneezefic. *G* It's, er, written quickly. And it's an attempt at humor... which I'm not too great at, honestly. It's all in fun.
I'm off to shower and go to sleep for the night! Yes... the sun rose 2 hours ago. What's your point?

Is there anything nicer than a sneezy elf
Date: 2003-08-25 08:23 pm (UTC)There really isn't anything nicer than one of your sneezy elf fics. I love the idea of Aragorn and Gimli sharing him [Lovely plot bunny Lady K!]. My favorite part of this fic was definitely your [or rather Aragorn's] description of 'Legolas' rather showy way of sneezing'-Sexy and wonderful.
I admit I have rather ulterior motives for liking this description; its exactly the way my fiancee sneezes! He's allergic to absolutely everything so he carries a hanky everywhere...but I've never seen him actually sneeze into it, ever [and believe me, I've looked LOL!] But I do love his beautiful free sneezes...
Sorry, terribly off topic...lovely sweet fic though!

Re: Is there anything nicer than a sneezy elf
Date: 2003-08-25 08:40 pm (UTC)But really, that's much too adorable for proper words! I'm jealous :-)
My boyfriend's a photic sneezer so usually I get a sneeze or two from him every day or every other day at the worst. But his sneezes are those short cough-like ones usually, with absolutely no build-up(I need warning to get properly, er, in the mood) so it's a tad disapointing. But I'm not with the guy for his sneezing, and I'm just glad he didn't ditch me as soon as he found out about my fetish. LOL!
I'm so glad you liked the story, though! I so enjoy Legolas fics, especially in describing his yummy sneezes... and the three-some is just much too fun to play with. *G*

I think I might have made Aragorn sound meaner than I'd intended... but he was just joking around with Gim... I dunno... no one's said anything about him yet, but I've not had much feedback LOL
ANYWAY, yes, nice hinting on your part!
It was a LOT of fun to write, even if I suck at humor.

Date: 2003-08-25 10:54 pm (UTC)My feelings toward this fic can be summed up very simply: I ADORE it!
Don't you dare go saying you suck at humor! I was completely amused the entire time. A few places stuck out in my mind as especially funny though: Gimli's tricking Aragorn into lagging behind with the horses, Aragorn and Gimli slowing inching away from the elf spraying germs with every uncovered sneeze, and the beautiful moment when they switch gears and decide that it's the other one's turn to have Legolas for the night. That last part caught me totally by surprise and had me grinning at the irony (as well as thinking that they were fools to turn down a chance to cuddle the sneezy elf. If they don't want the job, I'll take it...in a heartbeat...in a millisecond.)

Really? It's so hard for me to judge if it's at all funny since I wrote it, you know? But yay! That's great to hear. It's certainly not going to win any awards for brilliant humor, but I'm glad to know my attempt didn't suck too badly :-)
Gimli's tricking Aragorn into lagging behind with the horses
I like to think of it as, ah, seizing the opportunity *G*
Aragorn and Gimli slowing inching away from the elf spraying germs with every uncovered sneeze
heehee! I like to think that it's not so much that they're so squemish(sp?) but that it's a combination of the uncovered sneezes and the fact that it's very unnatural to see an elf sneeze in the first place. Quite a thing to see their beautiful Legolas doing so suddenly
and the beautiful moment when they switch gears and decide that it's the other one's turn to have Legolas for the night
The idea for the switch in desires was the big reason I went ahead and wrote the thing. It was a lovely concept, but when that idea popped in my head I knew I had no choice but to run with it. Besides, I love making them argue. And what a better subject to argue about than Legolas? *G*

Legolas is much too clever for them.
You and me BOTH!! Sexy, sneezy elves are NOT to be denied cuddle time! heehee!
I'm soooo glad you enjoyed it! Not to mention, found it amusing :-) Thanks so very much for the concept idea!!!
