Funny thing is, Isabel's the name of my boyfriend's cat. So everytime I hear it (which lately is several times an hour) I think of his cat. She's not THAT bad! Oh... the hurricane... riiiight...

Anyway, if I disappear because of it, I apologize. It's not supposed to be very bad here (in fact, we've got a football game Thursday night and they're not even cancelling it- though they are sending warnings about being careful of the fans coming in from the other university who tend to get, er, rowdy) I'm protected by mountains and all.
But I am worried about family up in northern VA. I think they'll be fine (they have a sub-ground basement and a whole cabinet they put together back when everyone in DC was scared they were going to be bombed or worse. So they've got water for 6 months and food for 4 and a special phone and a radio that doesn't use electricity and flashlights and batteries for a year and duct tape and pet supplies and all that. Ah. Isn't paranoia great?
And you wonder why I'm a hypochondriac, growing up with parents like this? LOL!

Hope everyone on the coast in the cat, er, hurricane's way takes care! Be safe! (Maybe not quite as paranoid as my family, but safe!)

Actually, the hurricane is moving north and hasn't really hit PA yet... so it's another storm you're having right now I think. :-) Sorry to hear about your carpet, though. That's not good! It hasn't rained here in two weeks now though. Bright skies every day(ick) though I think we're supposed to get some tomorrow when the buricane gets to VA. Isabel's only in the Carolinas right now.
