News report
Sep. 18th, 2003 01:53 pmI'm a terrible person. I always feel like cheering a little to read articles that explain why more people get colds and such. Then I feel instantly guilty (epsecially when they talk about infants and the elderly) But at any rate, I did find this rather an interesting read in my mailbox from CNN when I woke this morning. Especially the part about being able to catch it over and over again in one's lifetime.
I have always wondered- if colds are different viruses, why is is that when I catch a cold I usually experience the same pattern of symptoms (which is many times different from others' patterns)
Article about the metapneumovirus- http://www.cnn.com/2003/HEALTH/09/17/new.bug.ap/index.html
Happy reading. Cute graphic, too, though I would have preferred a sneezing guy, obviously :-)
On yet ANOTHER note, I started and finished another random sneezey story last night- a Star Wars one. I'm thinking I'm going to try to do an update of the site tonight... though I'd really like the Obi-torture one to be finished... I don't know if that's going to happen.
