Ken/Omi AMV

tarotgalI finished my Ken/Omi (and Omi/Ken really) Weiss Kreuz music video! *giggle* I love those boys. I went through 4 different drafts and about 40 different versions... but it's done! (I think, heehee)
It's basically a collection of my favorite Omi and Ken moments- most of which is hurt/comfort (are you surprised?)
Again, drop me a note if you don't have the link and want it. It does include the original series, the OVA/OAV, and Gluhen(with HUGE spoilers) just FYI. So don't watch yet if you haven't seen Gluhen and want to enjoy it!
Now I'm off to watch Survivor! Even the music is piratey... oh, don't you just love it when shows mooch off popular franchises? I'm loving it. *G* All they need are Depp and Orli to make guest appearances and I'll be a happy fangirl!

Well, one of the videos is up there. I'm not sure where her Ken/Omi Gluhen one can be found. If you have WinMX or the like, try hunting for an AMV set to 'Return (Coming Home)' by Cruxshadows... It's a perfect song for Omi.

I'm still slowly making my way through X (slowly=making it last as long as possible)... Mmmmm sexy evil Fuuma... and have been momentarily side-tracked by catching up with the new season of X-Men Evolution. *snuggles her fuzzy blue elf* But after *that* it's at the top of my list :-)

You got all the great Ken/Omi moments, from the OAV (my personal favorite for Ken/Omi goodness) to the end of the first arc where Ken is racing to save Omi, to the infamous Gluhen Hug(tm). I was bouncing like a loon the whole time I was watching it. You even left in my favorite Ken line of all time, when he told Omi not to worry about him after he was stabbed by Aya in Gluhen, because he's got two kidneys. Hee!
You've reduced me to squee'ing fangirl. Great job!

Awwww, I'm SO glad you liked! I've been getting some nice comments on it lately, but yours mean a lot since you're rather (read: completely) responsible for me getting into the fandom in the first place... not to mention to blame for my Omi/Ken shipness.
When all was finished with the video there are about 4 scenes(especially from the OAV) that I REALLY wanted in there. But it was rather jam-packed as it was and I was trying for a bit of a match with the captaions as well since it's distracting otherwise. But if you have any suggestions for other songs I'd be happy to try and work them into another vid! heehee!
I'm actually working on a draft for a very "Aya/Yohji from Aya's perspective" vid. Though I have a lot of it worked out, I don't have a lot of digital material with them to work with and the beginning is not going well.
Anyway... yay! Glad you liked! I love Ken running off to save Omi (though those moments with Yohji in the car on the way over are adorable too) And yeah, the kidney line's my absolute favorite- and I liked ending with that scene. All warm and fuzzy and awww! My boyos :-) Around version... 4 I think... I still had it ending with the helecopter ride but I'm glad I decided to change that. I think it's a much stronger Ken/Omi happy vibe to end with this way :-)
As for "the infamous Gluhen Hug(tm)" LMAO! You're too funny :-) I wanted a few more seconds with Ken "not wanting to be the bad guy" in there but it didn't fit well enough. But I think the hug stands for itself in the end *G*
Thanks for the feedback! Nothing at all wrong with squeeing... that's why I made the vid the way I did, so I could squee at my favorite moments all lumped together with happy music *G*

Oh no, you don't want to ask me this... I've got a ton of songs I'd use to make fanvids if I had the skill to do it. I think of my list, the one I'd love to see most would be 'Breaking the Habit' by Linkin Park -- I associate this one with Gluhen Ken. But then I tend to think Linkin Park in general fits Weiss really well.

That's a tough one to find footage for, I'd imagine. The OAV has a few decent Aya/Yohji moments, I think...

Ooh, I'm glad you took the helicopter scene out, because I really liked the way this one ended. Definitely stronger, and like you said before, you could save the helicopter scene for another vid. :)
