Oohhh, just got back from- ohh just sneezed twice- just got back from Walmart. They were just hauling the big Lion King DVD display up to the front of the store so I snagged one. And then when I went back to the DVDs, they didn't have Down with Love- which I was sad about. But just as I was about to go, the lady opened up a big box and started putting them on the rack- yahoo!
So I got both- The Lion King was $15 less than I've seen it listed for (and no, I didn't splurge and get the $50 box set with the cards/stills and booklet... I'm not quite that obsessed) I'm going to watch Down with Love right now to wind down... need to be awake in 7 hours... blah! Welcome home, to me! lol
Thank you all for your comments on the latest Legolas-and-the-bush story. They were wonderful and a half to come home to *G* I will be sure to reply in full tomorrow!

Down with Love
Date: 2003-10-07 03:02 pm (UTC)LOL- I couldn't drag anyone either, so I went by myself- first and only time doing that. But (opening day)there are only a few reasons(*cough*actors*cough*) I'd do that for.
I actually gushed over Down with Love back in May in this post: http://www.livejournal.com/users/tarotgal/64900.html
But the short of the matter is, I enjoyed it just as much the second time around. It's a cute feel-good sort of thing. And Ewan's just too adorable for words. He could do nothing but read the telephone book and flash that grin every few pages and I'd be in heaven, though. LOL! But really, there are so many interesting turns of the plot and awww, it's just a cute movie.
I enjoyed it and would certainly recommend renting it!
Re: Down with Love
Date: 2003-10-07 03:15 pm (UTC)Anyway... very good movie... just as good second time around I think because it's so up-beat all the time. Even the sad quasi-angsty moments are done with humor. And the DVD extras are fantastic- some of Ewan's gag reel moments are just too adorable for words!
I go sleep now... feel free to bop me on the head for my stupidity any time :-)
