Mmmmmmmm Friday TV. Doesn't get much better for me :-)
3 episodes of highlander, 2 hours of home improvement shows, 1 hour of Joan of Arcadia(with guest star John Marshall Jones who I could just eat up, I love the guy so much), 1 hour of one fantastic repeat of a Stargate SG-1 episode starring Daniel, 1 hour of The Handler (YAY! My new favorite show), 2 movies- Save the Last Dance (never seen it before, I cried several times. Awww! SO sweet!!!!!!! *snuggles Derek*) and the new Psycho (also never seen before, cringed at Viggo's accent, but was he ever ADORABLE!!!!)
Twas a nice night for my tv set :-) I went in and out of the room for most of it, though... not like I just sat on my ass and watched :-) I actually only listened to the Stargate and Highlander eps entirely, having seen them before.
Anyway... Save the Last Dance.... MAN! Wish I could dance! I'm completely incapable of it. Like doodling. Giving freedom of movement to parts of my body just doesn't happen for me, unfortunately. And Viggo... well, really, who wouldn't be happy just to stumble upon him in a movie? *G* I didn't like the remake at all otherwise, though. Then again, I can't think of too many remakes I liked better than the original.

Date: 2003-10-11 02:06 pm (UTC)I want to learn to dance, too. It's been one of my secret wishes since I was little *l* I wanted to be a ballerina. Now I'd like to do something like ballroom dancing... One day I might find the nerve/motivation to get out and join a class. It's strange you can't doodle or dance! Maybe you should try after a few drinks, or something *l* Gosh. I'm rambling. It's late *l* I always have too much to say when I'm tired - it works better than alcohol.

Date: 2003-10-12 06:42 pm (UTC)The original Psycho was FANTASTIC. So ahead of its time... and so terrifying and blunt and shocking and quiet... the newer version tried to capture similar things but just screwed it up with "hit-you-on-the-head" reveals and acting. But Viggo wasn't all that bad in it, even with the cowboy hat and accent LOL
I've never seen A Perfect Murder... though I'll have to look out for it now, then. My boyfriend is fantastically good in not letting me watch my things more than "during commercials" which is another reason I tape so many things LOL!
