I watched Joe Millionare tonight *bangs head against wall* I think they purposely picked nearly all the women to be materialistic bitches on purpose. I've never seen so many horrible women in one place before.
Boyfriend finished HP5 FINALLY last night around 1am. He didn't like "the reveal" as he called it. And didn't like the fact that it wasn't like the first four books- all of which had a huge twist at the end. No twist here.
Book 1- It wasn't Snape, it was Quirrel with Lord Voldything sticking out the back of his head!
Book 2- It was Ginny Weasley recalling the memory of Lord Voldemort as Tom Riddle!
Book 3- It wasn't Sirius Black, it was Peter Pettigrew who killed my parents, and he was Scabbers!
Book 4- It was Barty Crouch pretending to be Mad Eye Moody, and now Voldy's back!
Book 5- Um... there's some prophecy that says pretty much what most readers figured out in book 1 because the damn book series is named after Harry, and it's Dumbledore's fault that he didn't tell Harry about this sooner.
Anyhoo... yeah, I have to agree. It really breaks the pattern. But maybe there's a good reason it breaks the pattern? No more spurpises about the true identities of people? I dunno.
Annalisa liked the site I put up for the Sneezefic Challenge archive :-) I'm finishing my fics up for it now! Whoohoo! I'm excited to see what other people came up with!
