tarotgalI watched 'Joe Millionaire' tonight. Gotta say, I'm not finding anyone there at all very likable, even David.
And I watched 'Average Joe' tonight on NBC. I know, it's a terrible idea, but I really liked the show. Kathy Griffith was hilarious. I think she might have some horrible contract with ABC though after winning celebrity mole... but she seems happy to do it as a pro-reality tv person. Anyway, if I wasn't sure before, I definitely am now- I adore geeks. I really do. And some of the guys on there... ohhhhhhh SO yummy. Brad especially. *fans self* But I could really go for some of the other guys- though some are significantly too old for me. But there's a whole handful of guys I like on that show. Tareq is absolutely adorable. I am utterly attracted to intelligence. It's a total weakness of mine. The guy's younger than me and is already a college professor! Reminds me of some guys I had crushes on in high school. And the accent... mmmmmm! Anyway, those are my two favorites for me *G* But lots of the geeks (like Dennis- when he said he didn't drink because he liked to be in control of his life, etc I could have swooned- and Marc who's very adorable) were absolutely adorable. And I totally love the Teddy bear types, too. Tall would probably be very hard to get used to... but I don't mind a little weight on a guy. They were all pretty quirky... though it's WEIRD seeing the dynamics of them all together. Very odd. The geeks and the drunk party guys. And what happens when they feel the need to pick on each other to make the others feel better. Though showing the others off to make themselves look better was very weird indeed.
Anyway, the chica handled it as I expected she would. Some of those facial expressions- LOL! But then she seemed to get into it all right. And the guys really *do* have personalities that are very adorable. My thought is this twist they speak of is going to involve good looking guys(perhaps ones with no personality at all).
Anyhoo... it was interesting. And I'm totally infatuated with the 'geeks' on the show. Oohhh SO my type! As though I ever had a doubt... Though I love how the guys were saying so much about how she should look beyond their appearances, etc, then the second they get away they talk on-camera about how hot she is. LOL!
Ug.. head hurts... am tired... have done NO work for tomrrow's meeting. I'm thinking of skipping it again. Gods, I'm terrible!!! I just need sleep, after today. And tomorrow I have a possible lunch date, and then need to get my flu shot and clean. We'll see. I may send them work in e-mail and skip it though.
