Two more things...
Nov. 4th, 2003 07:35 amJust FYI... there were some problems in LJ last night and anyone using S1 style system (the original way of setting up styles) had their journal or parts thereof changed to the default style. Don't freak, just change it back to the way you like it. :-)
On an unrelated note... I tried changing my 'browse options' last week back to the old way LJ was... I remember how much trouble I had when it changed the first time. And now I've found I can't go back! LOL!
Second item of business... I fnally got caught up on the SF Challenge feedback/replies. FINALLY! Only, what, 2 weeks? LOL! I'm pathetic! But caught up. Now if I could just get caught up on everything else, I'd be a happy camper...

Though I do have to agree with another of your reviewers- I expected the kids to turn up at one point because of the lack of crying/emotion about their children gone. But As you didn't really explore the part of the story where they explain the mystery to the townspeople (and explain that their kids were all dead) I figured it's hard to grieve until you know for sure. And in a town like SH I don't know that you ever really know anything much for sure :-)
Anyway, I do agree with you, that detailed feedback is helpful. I eat it up, myself. I write for myself but am always fantastically glad when others like my stories and can point to parts that were good/bad. Both only make me work harder on my nest stories! I'm really a feedback whore at times, though. I read good responses over multiple times... makes me feel a lot better about posting some of the things I'm still nervous to post! I don't think I could ever get too much feedback!
