Here, I'll cut the pictures and put a spoiler warning, but click to read my rant!:
This is NOT my Lupin:

Moustache? He looks like he wants to murder someone(he's staring at Dumbledore)... he doesn't look all sick and tired and shy to be the new DADA teacher and be announced in front of the school. He looks... yick...
At least Snape looks uncomfy to be sitting next to him *giggle*

But this is NOT my Snape:

Look how he grabs Harry's arm! Look how he's holding his hand on Hermione's back. Ah, no. Sorry. NOT right at all!
And he looks oddly bored for someone facing down a werewolf who tried to kill him 14(?) years ago!

And this is NOT my Sirius:

Is he laughing or screaming? I cannot imagine him doing EITHER while being photographed. WTF? What was he screaming for? He's not evil... was he screaming in pain of Lily and James' death? I don't get it. What the heck? He was calm and laughing after the incident when they took him away... I don't see him screaming suddenly as they take his mug shot. That's not like Sirius at all. Nor is laughing at that point in time. It just... doesn't sit right with me.

I'm so very confused.

On a good note, there's SNOW in the scene! Which means, yay! Happy plot bunnies for tg because they all go to Hogsemede in a snow storm and it's the time Harry doesn't bring his cloak becase he just finds out about the secret passage and he's all cold and gets sick and sneezes. There!

*groan* Is it too late to ask for script and cast revisions? LOL! Again, see that Music Vid I posted last night!

Bleh. I'd be all boycott-ish and not see the movie but I'm dying to.
Stupid new director man. Even the NAME Alfonso Cuaron just makes me picture some scary guy with bling-bling necklaces and gold teeth smoking a cigar, blowing smoke into JK's face and laughing when she begs him not to fuck up her characters.

LMAO! From what I hear (and seen in The Little Princess) he's actually excellent. I picked out a lot of faults in the first two movies as well... I'm just especially worried about this as it's my favorite with my two most favorite characters.

LMAO, though... he does sound like that. And he IS taking a lot of liberties for the price of beauty (the costuming, for example) I keep having to remind myself that it's not my vision and that's okay... it's just... disappointing is all! And I wouldn't boycott it either as I am curious... but still... it's just NOT what I like.

Oohhhh YAY! Glad you liked the story! I was sitting in front of my comp for hours trying to talk myself into just posting it. I nearly backed out a number of times. I never know how people are going to react to different sorts of fics. And my mind can be pretty bad sometimes... so sometimes it's better just to keep that kind of thing to myself. But yay! heehee, Glad you liked! Thanks for letting me know *blush*

The Neville story was really good to tell you the truth, not my cup of tea in the whole Neville relieving himself dealie, but it was really good none the less. Harry was adorable in it, and his personality really shined through. Neville and him really seem to have an understanding in eachother and i love how it shined through, even in the most uncomofortable of situations.
The Remus and Sirius stories were adorable! I reviewed the first one a while back, but i was delited to see that Sirius gets sick in this one! It was too cute! I really love to read stories where Remus is taking care of Sirius for a change, i love that thing that he does, never admits that he's sick. Too cute! *G*

LOL- that's why I put the warnings there *G* I certainly don't expect most people to be into the same things I am. But thanks for sticking through and reading it- glad you liked the characterizations, at least. I really think the relationship between Neville and Harry is a fascinating one throughout the series... they're so similar (so much so that they shared the prophecy for a while) and their friendship really evolves nicely during each book :-)

And yay! Remus/Sirius :-) Hope you liked the newer version of the first story... I think it makes a lot more sense this time around than it did before. At least for what I was trying to get across. And yeah, I just couldn't resist sending the cold over Sirius' way. I have SO many sick Sirius fics in the works right now that it was nice to work on one and finish it, too! I love tough "I'm not sick" Sirius. Of course it's batently obvious he's sick... but it's just cute to see Sirius being able to make them all bend to his will and support his dilusions. Not that Remus is ever fooled... *G* Thanks for the fb!!!

Oh yeah, and I had seen these pictures. *Shudder*
There is another one of Sirius that makes him look more like aragorn...eesh. He's not as bad as the dude that they got to play Remus. Ahhh what were they thinking? Ewan would have been SOOOO perfect I can't even tell you, but what did they do instead? They got a completely out of it guy to play him...ehhh...no!!!

Yeah... I don't really mind the one in the cell.. and I'd seen the pics before... just not on high-res which makes them jump out and scream "This is NOT right!"
Ewan would have been perfect... and a perfect age... just wouldn't have looked the same age as 57-year-old Alan Rickman when he's supposed to be in his mid-30's. And I don't mind the bookish, geeky looking type. That's how I picture Rmeus, actually. Just not this moustache-wearing hunched-over guy who looks like he wants to murder Dumbledore. And I loved David Thewlis in Dinatopia. He's just not my Lupin. *sigh* I knew I should have become a casting director when I grew up *G*
