tarotgalOh my goodness. It's like watching a completely different movie, it really is. More humor, more background, and makes MUCH more sense in little places. Feels much more complete. The songs, the jokes, the wet hobbits, the ADORABLE added Legolas/Aragorn slashy-hurt-comfort-line *SWOON!*, and the whole ending. Oohhh I loved. Especially Legolas/Gimli's final tally (especially being a Douglas Adams fan). I loved. They're totally a couple *G* Really fantastic job they did with the exended version. Felt a lot more like the book, with its mix of emotions and situations. Especially the end. Oohhh and Samwise is SO my hero! Talk about showing one's quality! Truly! *sigh* Lovely movie.
The menus, too, were sensational for it all- specifically scene selections (Took me 5 hours to watch the movie since I kept going back and rewatching parts over and over and over again!) I'm going to go do something for a few more hours until my morning meeting. And try not to explore everything in one night... as if I could with all the commentary tracks and all! LOL Oohhhh lovely movie!
