Nice night

tarotgalI asked boyfriend to come over and spend time with me tonight... to make me feel better. And it worked. I'm still exhausted- though I managed a 2 hour nap earlier after all.
I bought Chinese take-out and we ate at my place. Which is fantastic and makes my day as this now marks the 4th time he's ever hung out at my place in our 3+ years of dating. Twas nice he spent so much time with me tonight. I really needed it.
Then we took full advantage of being in bed to watch a movie (my computer with DVD player is in my bedroom) *G* And then settled in to watch The Two Towers extended (again, in my case). He understood it a lot better this time around. He was completely lost during Fellowship (I wasn't much better at times during my first watching of it) and now he's starting to figure out which was Boromir and which was Aragorn, and which was Faramir. And he's got the bad guys' names straight, and understands the plot and themes a LOT better now. And he liked the version a lot, too. Especially since it explained so much more (like where Brego comes from, etc.) We sat down with the map and I showed him the routes and all and he's MUCH less confused now. So I'm going to make him watch the first movie sometime and then he'll be all ready and prepared to see #3. Yay! Twas fun *sigh* I'm so proud of the characters... Merry and Pip did so well... and Samwise!! *sigh* Good movie. Feel loads better now.
I have a meeting in 9 hours... I'm going to get some work done for it, then go to bed, methinks! :-)

Now of course, I will watch all of the movie, but are there any certain parts of the "making of" specials that we should make absolutely sure to see? I know that I adore the second DVD in the regular version of Two Towers...I really, really, liked the characters in the movie, but after seeing the actors and others at work...I LOVE those people now! Turned me from a fan into a HUGE fan!
BTW, saw on the internet tonight that Johnny Depp was named the Sexiest Man Alive...I have thought this for a LONG time!!! I was very excited!
