Edit: Warning about the interview with Liv and Orlando... Orli's got a slightly deeper voice than normal, and spends half the (short) interview rubbing vigorously at his nose and sniffing a few times (methinks the cutie has to sneeze and doesn't want to do so on camera *EG*) and the other half of the interview very boyishly fascinated with a mole that burrowed into the interview room (but the sweetie doesn't want them to hurt it) Yeah... okay... DAMN that was a good interview! Oh, and Liv said some things, too. LOL
But um... SQUEEEEE! Sorry, just had to. Ohhhhhhhhhh TOO cute, that one!!!!!!!!!

Another edit: Ohhh GODS... that cute little nose going back and forth when he rubs it... *swoon* Okay, seriously, they're all good clips. I just... MAN he's cute when he does that nose rubbing thing!!! Okay, I'll calm down now. Sorry!

Yet another edit: Awwwww... poor Elijah being in icy cold water for a few hours at the end of the first movie... And Dom has some cute sniffling moments in his interview, too. DAMN these plot bunnies. And here was I trying to stay away from RPS? LOL! They're making it WAY too easy, I tell you!

Awww! Orlando! I must have watched that clip four times. *g* Oh, but he's so darling and sniffly and aww! I guess he thinks nobody's paying any attention to him, since Liv is talking. Hah. Nice try, boy. Rawr.

Moi aussi... at least 4 times... And exactly... Liv's talking... no one will notice him sniffling and rubbing his nose. No... no one...

My favorite is that little pause right after the lots of rubbing with his finger where he seems to be waiting, just to be sure the tickle/itchiness is gone. Then he relaxes. Oohhh I could just eat him up. I really could *deep sigh*

Ohhhhh yeah. Poor guy. I HATE sneezing in front of people. I can't imagine what being sick/sneezing in front of a camera connected to the WWW must be like! I mean, he was REALLY embarrassed on The Tonight Show when Jay had him stick his tongue out like a lizard. For someone with a lot of wildness in his blood, he does seem pretty easy to embarrass.
Anyway, I'll stop rambling. *sigh* He's just TOO cute. But makes it a lot easier for me to write his characters sniffling and rubbing their noses now *G* LOL

They are SO adorable together- answering for each other, and answering very in character at times. I suppose after so many interviews and all you'd have to inject some humor somewhere... and they do such a marvelous job of it... *G*
Oh... but, yes, accents... oohh I definitely have a weakness for men with yummy accents.
Not to mention men who sound stuffed up! YUM! *picks self up off the floor* heehee!

Especially not such yummy footage! Argh!!! *lol*

It's really odd what triggers my RPS instincts... I dunno... I still have a lot of apprehension when it comes to it. But one of the actors will same something and all these lovely images pop into my head, you know? Like I never really had any urge to write hobbit fics until watching the Fellowship commentary with the cast and Dom- was it Dom? It's been a while, can't remember, gah- talking about being in that field when Merry & Pip ran into Sam & Frodo and his hayfever was acting up and he was sneezing so much that he was in a really bad mood. Just the urge to snuggle the actor, you know? *G*

Anyhoo... I'm TRYING to find a good copy of the interview to post... the copy at http://www.orlandomultimedia.net/video/int_press.html has escaped me (seems to always be offline) So it looks like I'll have to sign-up for the streamload service to get it. It's SO worth it though, I promise! You can try another format at iFilm... Real player works best for me, but media player on iFilm always stalls.

Oh... and though I don't have a lot of inclination to write Real Person stories in general, I think I'd need it to be slashed based for me to be interested enough to actually finish it. Which is why I lump everything into RPS when I talk about writing those kinds of stories, even when the inspiration doesn't have any basis in slash. It's just so much of what I write :-)

I think most fanfiction has to be slashed based for me to be interested. Well written gen is nice (even if I do get a bit wistful for slashy moments *l*), but I'm really not a het fan. Not all het squicks me (there's some great het around, and canon het is infinitely better than non-canon het, and and I've written Aragorn/Arwen het but also Elizabeth/Norrington het too, which isn't canon so I don't know what that does to my classification system), but a good proportion of it does *l* I don't know why that is. Maybe the whole Mary-Sue scene turned me off. But yeah, slash is definitely at the forefront of my writing atm! It's become such a part of my creative thought-process that it's inherent most things I do, which can be awkward re: art and things *l*

Can I ask why you're not an RPS fan in general? Is it not feeling the same connection with the actors as with the characters, or feeling that it's wrong to write RPS? Just curious *g* Both applied to me until I came across some wonderful Viggo/Orlando writing that had me hooked and I've never looked back *l*

Your feelings on slash- dead on. Het's okay... it just doesn't interest me much. And the het couples HAVE to be canon for me to even think in their direction. I'm such a canon whore that I wouldn't go against them, even if I'd rather see them with other people at other times (Like Aragorn/Arwen)

As for RPS... the main reason is that I don't feel like I *know* them well enough to write them. I feel a connection... I just don't think I could write them realistically. I have a REALLY hard time writing characters that aren't like me to some extent. With fanfic characters I'm working on breaking out of that. And in some cases, I can make them grow or get inside their minds and think just like them. But I don't think I'm ready to try that with real people! And in most cases I really DONT know them well enough to write anything decent. Just a few mannerisms and interviews and things. I love 'em to death. I just don't feel I know them well enough to write from their perspectives.
I'm maybe a little worried that it'll somehow get back to them. But as I feel any portrayal I'd do of them would be wrong, I don't feel like I'd get that far to make it a worry :-)

*squeal* OMG!!!! *lol* 4 hours of d/l later and I'm up to the bit where the mole has appeared, it was so worth it! *lol* Orlando is just way too cute *g* This really does beg for a fic, you know! Dom and Orlando are both sniffly? I wonder if this has anything to do with it? *weg* Although, I'm a Viggorli girl, and it would have made me so happy for it to have been Viggo and Orlando kissing/sniffly together!

I'm so glad the mole turned up, though. Orlando was looking so incredibly bored, but the grin on his face when he spots it is so great! *l*

Oohhhhhh ADORABLE pic! Man... they really had something special while filming the movies, and became so close *sigh* I'm jealous :-)

I have a feeling Dom *is* sick. Or maybe it's just allergies(the interview is outside, after all). The water bottle in hand is adorable. And in other interviews he did the same day/night he sounds equally stuffed up, if not worse.

Anyhoo... awww... thanks for the cute pic! And SO glad you got to see the interview! Just the way he rubs his nose... OOHHH! Yum! What a cutie :-)

Oh god *l* Now you make me want to watch the Dom interview, and that's going to take another 4 hours to load! I'll stick it on my "to-do" list for tomorrow, and see how my connection behaves.

Do you think Dom and Orli are/were a couple? It does look like it, sometimes! *l* But then... there are enough Viggo/Orlando hints to keep the Viggorli fans happy, too (there's such a great collection of pics of Viggo and Orlando giving each other kisses, and then there are the poems of Viggo's that keep getting analysed and re-analysed - here if you're interested *g*) so maybe Orlando and the bunch are just very affectionate guys *g*

I tend to think that they were all really affectionate guys. It's just damn nice to see that they don't mind showing that publically. I think it's part culture and part THEIR culture. Like their little family/world and in it, jokes and kisses and hanging eachother off cliffs by the ankles is just the norm. I mean, who doesn't want a bunch of friends you love to death and greet with bit hugs and kisses?

But again, I don't know the actors well enough to write 'em, let alone guess about it all. But if I had my way, they'd probably all be having sleepovers in each others' trailers.
I have no trouble believing either pairing and then some *G* Mmm... yummy images. No, no trouble at all :-)

Oh, and yes, I've read similar poem analysis. And I think Viggo/Orli gets my vote as most realistic possiblity for a couple. Which is FINE by me! :-)

*sigh* What a great little treat to come home to...

I'm sorry I couldn't jump into this conversation earlier. I just got home tonight from a series of trips, first to New Orleans for a National Pharmacy convention where I did some job interviewing and promoting of my current residency program to recruit new residents for next year, then to Indianapolis to spend an early Christmas with my best friend...but boy was I glad to come home to see this!!

I don't think I've ever previously had the opportunity to witness any celebrity rubbing his/her nose this much and in such a cute manner...and for it to be Orlando....*Swoon!*...*THUD!*

God, now I'm totally inspired to sit down and start writing my Legolas challenge fic(s)...too bad I have too much work to do around home tonight before I take off tomorrow night to drive another 3 hours to the house of the friend I'm going to Trilogy Tuesday with. Two more days!!!
