Another Gah! I'm really worried about my thesis... but it'll get done... I'm trying to enjoy the writing for now, knowing the hell that is to come during the defense.
Anyway, just wanted to share my bounciness (sp?) with y'all :-)
Someone nominated the first LotR fanvid I ever made to a vid contest! Whoohoo! It's a Sam/Frodo vid... and I watch it now and note all the little things I want to change. But in general it's not a bad vid. I'm proud someone actually thought enough of it to nominate it. I've never been very into vid contests, though I did think about submitting my Aragorn/Arwen vid to one once. And I'd never have the courage to do it myself. And I'm sure I won't win! But it's nice to know someone thought of it and took the time to reward it. It's got some nice moments, after all :-) Anyway. YAY! That makes me happy!
Ug... must be up for a meeting in 3 hours... I HATE Tuesdays! Yikes!!!
I went to Walmart (and resisted the urge to by National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, NL's European Vacation- which I now regret passing on, and Ladyhawke which were all VERY tempting). I did however buy A Knight's Tale (my sister owns it, but for $9.88 I figured it was worth it to finally go for it) and the old animated version of The Lord of the Rings (in the Walmart bin) for $7.50. I remember seeing it as a kid and being completely freaked out LOL! But, honestly, for $7.50 I think it's worth having around even just for a laugh or to make my collection "complete". That's the only reason I own three copies of Highlander 2, after all *shakes head* Luckily only 2 of the 3 are store-bought. But that's still pretty bad since it's one of the worst movies in the world.
