Whoohooo! I passed my master's defense! *happy bounces*
Now I just have to go through a ton of drafts and editing for the next 4 weeks and submit it :-)
I ran really long on the presentation... something like an hour and fifteen minutes instead of 45... but I barely said anything in that time... gah... anyway, they passed me. And had some interesting questions- but oddly enough, nothing I couldn't answer. I really felt like I knew everything well by then and was able to answer well... nothing that really stumped me, which is what I was afraid of.
My printer ink- both colors and back- died last night at 3am. So at 3:30am I ran out, unburied my car from the snowdrift, drove out to Walmart and bought $65 worth of ink, then sped back home. It's the Murphy's Law of theses, I know. But I *really* didn't need that last night! LOL
And it ended up just to be my committee members and Boyfriend sitting in the back. They talked for kind of a long while, however, when I was asked to leave the room twice... they worried me! But in the end- YAY! I passed the defense! Definately the scariest thing I've ever done. Whatever possessed me NOT to do the coursework option I'll never know...
I'm going to see RotK tomorrow night at 7:40- just got the tickets. Right now I'm going to warm up, eat something, then go out to dinner.
Boyfriend bought me Highlander Season 3 as a partial congrats present and a partial christmas present. YAY!!!!!! I think I'll pop it in and play around for a while before dinner.

Date: 2003-12-20 04:05 am (UTC)Now that I think about it, it eerily parallels ROTK, actually (and yes, I saw it for the third time tonight...is it obvious? *G*).
Anyway, congratulations again. Enjoy your well-earned break!
