More movies...

Made boyfriend watch the first X-men movie tonight. I think he liked it. He's never seen the show(s) or comics but the movie does good background so he was good, I think. I'm hoping I can drag him to the movies Friday, if not sooner :-) We shall see. I'm dying to see X2 :-)

I watched 'But I'm a Cheerleader' tonight. I've seen it once before, when I was at home for a vacation my mother and I watched it together on one of our late-night HBO fests. I mistakenly got a copy of it tonight and said what the heck. Kinda fits into my QAF obsession as of late. LOL It was wonderful- I'd missed the very beginning the first time, so that was nice to see. I'm thinking of buying on DVD, just cuz it's MUCH too funny not to own a copy of. All that pink and blue... my GODS all I could think of was how much fun it would be to be the wardrobe and props people for that movie!!! Of course, it's got fabulous messages and all that coming of age/realization stuff that I dig. It's such a cute movie :-) SO extreme that it's believable, you know? LOL Yeah... maybe I'll go buy a copy... lol

On another note, I'm trying to finish up the next chapter of 'Deadly Medicine'. It's going all right... hoping to post it tonight. :-)

Deadly Medicine ch8

Chapter 8 of Deadly Medicine is posted to lotrhpsneeze. I'm sure it's got lots of spelling probs here and there cuz I'm too tired to do another editing pass. So sorry in advance for 'em all as I always am. But I hope it's enjoyed. Just a sort of repeat chapter to expand on a few things... and when I say repeat, I mean it... but I didn't really have too much control over it... it just sort of spilled out the way it did.

I'm going to start on Chapter 9 a little before going to bed in a few. I'd actually like to write more... but I've got to go to bed sometime haven't I? I spent all day feeling sleepy and exhausted... and now that it's bedtime, I'm wide awake. Love how that happens... the night just wakes me up so much! And the moon has been such a beautiful crescent these last few nights... and the air so cool and fresh... reminds me of fall :-) Not like these hot, sticky days...
