Sooo tired
Jul. 18th, 2003 11:31 amHave to do a lot of work today... but only got 4 hours of sleep... I'm soooo tired but too worried about work to sleep. We'll see what happens as the day goes on. Boyfriend is going out of town so I might in fact pull an all-nighter and just work the night away... thinking of going to get a nice veggie sub from Subway for dinner. Frozen meals aren't filling me up the way they used to and I can't cook for myself as I can't keep anything in the fridge.
I want to work a little on the Pirates fic... I need to think of a title... I'm SO terrible at titles... anyone have any leads on a title muse I could borrow/buy?
I'm currently stuck on the dream sequence- I can't decide if I want to integrate sneezing into it or not... originally I had thought yes... but now that I get ready to write it... it doesn't seem to fit so well. I dunno. We'll see. I downloaded 'A Pirate's Life for Me' on mp3 for inspiration. I'm thinking of maybe putting together a nice playlist of drinking songs and sea shanties for further inspiration (and to keep me awake as I work) Thought popped into my head yesterday as I shouted out verses of 'Drunken Sailor' in the shower. LOL!
I've also been considering another writing project since last week. I don't have the time for it... grrr... but I think it would be fun if I could do it right. It'd be an original character sort of thing, though. I dunno. I can't decide on characteristics for the guy, oddly enough. Usually I'm pretty good at random OC's popping into my head. Oh well... I'll continue to ponder the idea.
