Progress...

I actually figured out Monk tonight! This makes my score two out of... er... two out of seventeen. Actually, maybe three... I think I got the airplane one...
I don't know... I feel like the ones I get are "lesser" episode. Like, the episodes they make especially for stupid people like me who can't figure it out alone. LOL. My mother and I managed to figure out last week's but it took the two of us (and I give most of the credit to her- though I was REALLY trying, grr!) Gotta love that show :-)

Anyway... finished my short little sneezey!Will PotC fic. I'm hoping to edit (it's really short and already half edited) tonight and post after that. Yay! :-) It's a little... I dunno... I think it needs more sneezing and less introspection. I have a hard time writing sneeze fics that are just sneezing, you know? lol I'm kinda silly.

My sailing/pirates playlist is currently being padded out by some Muppet's Treasure Island songs... which I feel badly about, but I love those songs (I own the soundtrack) and really, who doesn't love a singing Tim Curry? Even if he's in pirate garb instead of fishnets... which leads me to mention that Anthony Stewart Head who plays Giles on Buffy:tvs looks FANTASTIC as Frank-N-Furter! Um... wow... how the heck did I get on this subject? I don't even watch Buffy...

Willy Wonka

I'm watching the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory DVD and listening to the 5 kids do their commentary (my GOSH! What a cute idea!) They seem like a really fun group all together. My favorite line so far (I'm pretty sure by the guy who played TeeVee), about Gene Wilder:
"He'd already shot the producers by this time."

Laughing and shocked gasps follow this, and he has to clarify that he didn't mean that Gene took a gun and shot the producers of the movie, but finished filming the movie 'The Producers' LMAO! Oh gee, thanks for clarifying! ROTFLMAO!

Gene is fantastic in the featurette... he reminds me of my grandfather. And he's sooooo sweet regarding working with Peter and the other kids. So cute. Man... I love this movie so much! One of the few times I think I like the movie a little better than the book (though it's a close call). I think the music and just seeing those sets and KNOWING they're real not digital really puts it over the top for me.

Pirates Fic posted

Just posted my Pirates of the Caribbean story on sneezefic. It's just a short little thing- and I spent more time with research than in writing (which probably shows). And there probably isn't as much sneezing as there could be... but I wanted something light and not entirely too miserable for Will. Everything always seems to go wrong for the lad... didn't want to make it too bad for him.

Anyhoo... enjoy :-) I've got SO many fics in the works, it was nice to get a small, quick one out. And it's always fun to play with new characters and a new universe :-)
