Thesis is Haunting me

So, I'm doing just about everything but my thesis work tonight :-)

I was just writing and watching more of Dinatopia and there's a scene after David Thewlis' character dumps poor Zippo the dino into a river in a bag where Zipp's calling out for help and says "If you help me out of here I promise I will finish the thesis!"

LMAO! It's haunting me! I think I could use something like being thrown into a river in a sack for several days to get me motivated to finish my thesis! LOL!

Anyway... amusing it was. Just thought I'd share. Damn, David's good at being an unlikable guy. I'm still so darn nervous, though. *sigh* It doesn't help that Lupin's my very favorite character so I'm extra worried.

SW Story

Wrote a very short Star Wars story tonight. Just felt like doing something very un-challenge related :-) It's an Obi-allergy fic, too, so a little different than my usual. And it's finished, too, so already that's MUCH different than my usual!

Finished watching Dinatopia(for the 6th time) and started The 10th Kingdom(for the 20-somethingth time). It's about 7 hours long, without commercials. I love it to death, I really do. It's brilliant. Simon is my god when it comes to writing. I've honestly never seen more creativity in a realistic fantasy story. *snuggles Simon* Too bad his screenplay for Dinatopia was butchered by editors and execs. I wish I could have read the original. I bet it was brilliant, too :-) Well, actually, Baz is high up there on the creativity scale, too, now that I think of it. Ah, but I'm a writer so I've got to feel more of an affinity with Simon, I think.

And no one's probably still reading this post, so I'll just shut up now. Maybe I'll try to go to bed early. Eh... but it's only 5:30... I dunno... we'll see. I couldn't get my lazy boyfriend to go out with me tonight... or even to stay in and watch a movie. So I'm pampering myself with Simon's fantastic story. Mmmmmmm! And I've GOT to love the wolf! *snuggles Wolf*

Challenge update

Oohhh... another... what 6 hours until fics are due for the challenge? We've got 9 so far- which amazes me! *pats authors on the backs*

I'm finding it hard to archive/code without reading the stories- I'm not reading them, don't get me wrong! I just feel like I might be making mistakes somewhere and I'm worried about that. So when I post the archive there's going to be a HUGE disclaimer about that- and authors, PLEASE feel free to correct me if I've left out anything or miscategorized, etc.

Oohhh can't wait to read 'em!

The Handler

I have to say, I think The Handler really is my new favorite show. I'm very impressed with it. The characters are fantastic, the plots are spectaculr, and the writing is top-notch. It's all what they don't say, you know that kind of show? And Joe Pants is sensational. I've always loved the guy, ever since... gods, was it 92 when Highlander was first on? Doesn't matter, a while ago. And he's fabulous in this show! Ah, I love it dearly. Makes my whole week :-)
