Um... what? So many things wrong I can't begin... I can only laugh. A hell of a lot.

Fic progress

Today:

• Finished editing and posted the gift fic for Lady Korana. Woot!
  
• Worked on Aimee's gift fic. It's going on 4 pages now and probably about half finished... maybe more than half, depending on how what I see in my head ends up playing out. But it's in a good place and flowing very nicely :-)
  
• Wrote a few pages longhand on my Obi-Slave nonsneezefic story. I enjoy it a lot. It's probably every cliche in the book, but I still enjoy writing it. The idea needs to get out of my head.

Dentist

To add to my week of Hell... went to the dentist today. It was but the first of four long, excruciatinglu horrible visits I must undertake in the next month. Have I mentioned how much I BLOODY HATE THE DENTIST'S?!!!!!!!

This new dentist is very nice, though. Didn't get mad at me when he made me gag like the other one used to. I think that's one reason I hate getting work done, honestly. The fear of gagging. Because gagging leads to... that v word that scares me to death. I get all panicy just thinking about the dentist... and I've just put two and two together. But this guy was very nice. Would have been better if he'd gone faster, but it's his style to go slow so it doesn't hurt. Would have also been better if his assistant hadn't kept shoving the mirror down my throat and drowning me. There was lots to fix. It was hell. The right side of my face, mouth, lip, tongue and all are numb. No pain... at least not yet... but it was horrible and uncomfortable. Give me the gynacologist any day! LOL

Well, one down and three to go. I'm going back next Wednesday. *sigh* Wish I had insurance. It would make this so much easier to swallow. So to speak. I can't really swallow at the moment. Half of my mouth is numb. LOL

Wow, look at that! There's an LJ mood for numb! How... fortuitous yet pleasant.

Damn... why am I always the last?

The first Remus/Sirius auction closed... which is just as well considering how expensive dentist bills are and that I'm dirt poor.

BUT... for those with money... there are still plenty of chances to bid on some fantastic HP artwork and help out the cause...
