To add to my week of Hell... went to the dentist today. It was but the first of four long, excruciatinglu horrible visits I must undertake in the next month. Have I mentioned how much I BLOODY HATE THE DENTIST'S?!!!!!!!

This new dentist is very nice, though. Didn't get mad at me when he made me gag like the other one used to. I think that's one reason I hate getting work done, honestly. The fear of gagging. Because gagging leads to... that v word that scares me to death. I get all panicy just thinking about the dentist... and I've just put two and two together. But this guy was very nice. Would have been better if he'd gone faster, but it's his style to go slow so it doesn't hurt. Would have also been better if his assistant hadn't kept shoving the mirror down my throat and drowning me. There was lots to fix. It was hell. The right side of my face, mouth, lip, tongue and all are numb. No pain... at least not yet... but it was horrible and uncomfortable. Give me the gynacologist any day! LOL

Well, one down and three to go. I'm going back next Wednesday. *sigh* Wish I had insurance. It would make this so much easier to swallow. So to speak. I can't really swallow at the moment. Half of my mouth is numb. LOL

Wow, look at that! There's an LJ mood for numb! How... fortuitous yet pleasant.

Aw, that sucks. Whenever I go to the dentist and have my mouth numbed I'm always afraid I'm going to bite myself and not know it. I used to have this really bad dentist who didn't use Novocaine all the time when doing painful things so that was bad. Now I have a new dentist who I like. His hot son just graduated from dentist school so he comes into work so that makes things a bit better as well. But, yeah, dentists are scary sometimes. I feel your pain!
