It's official!
May. 7th, 2012 04:36 pmI closed today. I now have my first HOUSE!
It's all mine. And it's lovely. It smells like smoke and needs to be steam cleaned and repainted as well, so it'll be a month or two before I actually move in for good. But I'm looking forward to getting my stuff out of storage and unpacking and putting things exactly where I want them. 'Cause the whole thing is MINE!
Though, man, I have SO much shite. It's going to take ages to get all my crap over there! LOL. The nice thing is that the homeowner before left me a LOT of her stuff--three couches, chairs, pots, pans, cleaning stuff, ladders, shovels, tools/workbench, tv hutch, shelves, end tables, desk, rugs, and more! So I'll have a good start on furniture before I have a chance to buy some of my own that I really like.
But I have a house! *does happy homeowner dance* So, yeah, I've got a job and a house... I'm like a real adult now :-) A real adult who still uses Fozzie Bear as a user icon. THAT kind of adult. heehee!
