Christmas Movie Types

I've been watching a lot of Christmas movies lately, mostly on DVD or Netflix. Some have been HORRIBLE. Others have been adorable.

I've learned that Christmas movies seem to come in one of several flavors:
1. A horrible or egotistical character learns the true meaning of Christmas
2. An unbelieving character learns there really IS a Santa Claus
3. All I want for Christmas is a man
4. Out of the box thinking (none of the above)

Here are some examples from my recent Netflix viewing...

The Christmas Project: Even though they get bullied, four kids give the bullies anonymous gifts and learn the TRUE meaning of Christmas
Pete's Christmas: After having the worst Christmas ever with his family, Pete gets a chance to repeat the day over and over again until he learns the TRUE meaning of Christmas

Get Santa: Fresh out of prison and trying to bond with his son, Steve learns there really IS a Santa Claus (and he needs to be broken out of jail)
The Santa Clause: While trying to bond with his son, Scott learns there really IS a Santa Claus (and he's him)

The Spirit of Christmas: Kate tries to get an inn inspected and instead falls in love with a ghost who only appears for 12 days during the Christmas season
12 Dates of Christmas: Kate gets 12 chances to do Christmas over and win the affections of a man

Two-fers!
Christmas Inheritance: Ellen thought she had it all until she was sent to a small town without her credit cards and learned the TRUE meaning of Christmas (she also gets a man)
Marvel Super Hero Adventures: Frost Fight: Marvel characters have to save Jolnir (Santa) from Loki and Ymir. Tony learns there really IS a Santa Claus! Rocket Raccoon learns the TRUE meaning of Christmas.
A Dogwalker's Christmas Tale: Luce (not short for anything) walks a dog for a rich neighbor and discovers the TRUE meaning of Christmas (and also gets a man--neither of them have a dog, though, strangely enough)
Dear Santa: Shallow Crystal reads a child's letter to Santa and invades the life of the child and her single father in order to get a man but, as the man's dead wife ran a soup kitchen, Crystal ends up learning the TRUE meaning of Christmas
