Almost Christmas!

I went to 5 stores this morning on the hunt for peppermint (not fruity or chocolate or whatever) candy canes that were made somewhere that didn't process wheat. Finally, I found some at a Rite Aid. Then I went over to my parents' place and my dad and I put them on the tree to surprise my mom today as she'd been hunting unsuccessfully for them.
I've been sick since Tuesday. Yeah. Fears were confirmed. But it's the second-mildest cold I've ever had, so it's not so bad. Mostly, I'm just SUPER tired. Last night, though, it was BAD. Had a rough one. It's this stupid tickle in my thoat that just will NOT go away. And a little congestion. But mostly the throat thing. I even tried special Star Wars tea yesterday (thank you,![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
ladykorana) and it helped but not as much as I'd hoped.
Anyway, I really don't like writing sneezefics when I'm sick, but I'm really behind in giftfics, so I've got no choice. I've got 5 finished and 3 more in progress. I might not be able to post one every consecutive day, though. I might need a little longer to work on some of these. I will do my best to keep to my original schedule, but I really didn't plan on getting sick and being so damn tired this week. Just wanted to give you a heads up. The stories ARE coming. They just might be a little more spread out than in previous years. Sorry!!!!
Luckily, I got all my presents wrapped last week, so there's nothing to do but sit and write (and do laundry) right now. My family might be doing something for Christmas Eve; I don't know at the moment. There's talk of going to see The Last Jedi!
