TONS of stuff to say, so I'll say it quickly...

Sorry I've been away so much- had forgotten how hard it is to share a computer with others, especially when others have a more valid reason to be online. :-) Thanks for asking & answering each others' questions for me! *hugs* And thanks for the story/pic link(s) Yummy sneezey LotR characters certainly helped inspire me to finish my LotR challenge fic.

I finished and sent in my Gimli/Legolas challenge fic today- which means I've written all I'd intended to. I've another 3 in the works that will not be completed by the deadline, but I'm happy with the ones I have sent in already.

I have updated the archive to reflect everything posted on the group thus far, plus my own. I am certain I will be able to get online tonight and finish updating the archive for the deadline and the release. I cannot WAIT to read these stories! Annalisa and I were hoping for 15, I think. And there are nearly 25 now from over 12 people! Many people wrote more than one, and a number of people submitted stories for the first time(or close to the first time)- which is FANTASTIC! I am overwhelmed and in awe. Thank you all SO much!

I've been watching a number of movies on HBO... finally got to see My Big Fat, Greek Wedding last night (yes, I know, I'm SO behind) It was so very adorable! Although I had a VERY hard time not laughing every time I saw Bruce Gray trying to play the boring, shocked father. Kept picturing him naked and banging Emmett. Then I kept having flashes to my favorite Northern Exposure episodes... not helpful. LOL But twas an adorable movie!

Speaking of which, apparently QAF Season 3 is out on DVD Feb 24! Yay! :-)

Okay, I'm going to go work on other things for a while, then check back. I'm so very excited about the story release tonight/tomorrow!! YAY!

Please, please, please tell me you'll accept my fic for the challenge if it's just a few hours past the deadline...I'm so desperate to contribute, but I've never written a fic before and I want it to be perfect, and it's going so much slower than I'd imagined! I'm finally starting to get on a roll, but I'm scared to death I won't finish fast enough. I could blow thorough it and finish, but I want people to enjoy it, and call me silly, but I want my first fic to be something I can be proud of.

So pretty, pretty please....have mercy on me. I really want to be a part of all this. *hopeful look*

Well, personally I see NO problem with accepting late fics. I'm going to write to Annalisa right now to see what we'll say officially. But a few hours late is certainly NOT a problem. A couple weeks, however, is still okay by me but I'll see what Annalisa says about that as well.
But don't worry. We want people to get things on time as part of the challenge, but the most important thing is to write well and ENJOY the experience. Don't stress just for the sake of the deadline. I would much rather a fabulous story a little late than none at all, or a rushed one :-)

Hi! It's not at all a problem, as long as you get it to me by tomorrow afternoon, I don't see a reason why not? You can send me stories as long as the archive isn't released yet, because it only takes a few minutes to put on anyway. I'm looking foreward to it!

I'm not sure where I send any stories I have. Also, I may, or may not finish these two stories I'm working on tonight...um, not to start a chain of late enteries, but if I don't finish them tonight could I possibly send them to you tomorrow? Thanks,

Annalisa will then post them on the group. Do not send them to me directly.

As we're not releasing them until at least 7 or 8pm EST, you can have them in before then to still have them counted, for sure. :-)

Well, I finished my fic...stayed up all night to do it, despite having to work today (and I'm paying for it as I keep almost falling asleep at my computer at work), but the fic's done! I'm letting Hermione skim through it for errors this afternoon and I'll submit it as soon as I get home from work today at 5pm EST. Sorry to cut it so close to the wire, but again, thank you tg and Annalisa for letting me submit it!

I like to go through my stories for errors as I'm sure there are some, but last night I was unable to do so...so could I possibly re-send them in better condition?

Well, it seems that Annalisa has not posted them yet, so yes, you may re-send them in better condition if you do so quickly. Do tell her that they are the same stories, just better versions and to post these instead of those.
