Coming out of lurkerdom

Took me an hour of indecision, but I posted my S/R Valentine's Day story to a group/list I normally only lurk on. It's not a huge S/R group (I didn't have the courage for that, yet) but I'm still terrified now. But what's done is done. Too late to take it back. Hope people don't think it sucks. I'm terrified.

Oh, but I ended up renaming it 'Soul Meets Soul on Lover's Lips' (which is from Shelly) I suck at titles.

I'm working on my Friday fic now. I slept all afternoon- just crashed- so I'm rushing to play catch up and all of this took a backseat tonight. But It's close to being done... I'll finish it before I go to bed tonight, surely.

Gah... I'm terrified... see, this is why I lurk! I'm way too much of a coward to post where hundreds and hundreds of people can criticize. LOL! :-)

Don't be worried; its a wonderful fic, I really enjoyed it. I really like the title-its sweet without being overly so [sorry, Valentines Day just isn't my holiday-my other and I don't 'observe' it]. Don't fret though...I'm sure people will love it.

Yeah, my boyfriend and I don't celebrate it either. I honestly don't see the point to it. Which is why I was surprised the story turned out as it did. I think, however, were I to write a post-Azkaban Valentine's Day fic it would be much more cynical and much less sweet. But who knows. It's strange. I hate the holiday, but it seems to work for Sirius and Remus, oddly.
I'm rambling. Gah. I'm nervous :-) But thank you for the vote of confidence there. *crosses fingers*
