Finished a SW fic
Feb. 15th, 2004 07:35 amI've been offline a lot for the last few days. Been hard to fit things in. But I've been writing a lot. I just now finally finished a SW fic I started in late December. I think it turned out all right. It's a lot different... and maybe too sweet in parts. Eh, I dunno. I'll post it in my next update, I think. I'm calling it 'Forced Communication' for now... but that seems too... eh, cold. I dunno... gods, I suck at titles! LOL But it's written. That's the important thing.
Now I just want to finish up that Legolas/Aragorn story I started a week or so ago. It's SO near completion as well. Just a couple more paragraphs... some dialogue... and a conclusion. I've written it in my head already, I'm just struggling to get the time to get it out properly.
I have so much feedback to write to people... I feel guilty again. Gah... sorry! I'll catch up on that today- I promise!! My muses have just been picky and shouting at me to write Star Wars stories.
Anyone have an unconventional but nonetheless cute Star Wars pre-TPM plot bunny for me? Something short? I need to write something very different... and need to be inspired(and I need to stop feeling inadequate whenever reading the fantastic stories on MA). The muses demand it... yet are letting me alone to try and figure it out on my own. So I thought asking for help might be good. My creativity seems to be at an all-time low.

hey, tarotgal, why so sleepy?
Date: 2004-02-15 12:56 pm (UTC)have you heard about The Passion? it's a movie about the last hours of Jesus' life before the Crucifixion - i've heard a lot of good things about it, and i agree after seeing the trailers...
Here's some links I found
Some trailers (http://movies.go.com/movies/P/passion_2003/index.html?sptype=AV&ipsrc=media&reftype=pi#)
Information (http://www.passion-movie.com)
The Passion of the Christ (flash) (http://www.thepassionofthechrist.com)
Other trailers (http://www.thepassion.tv)
It will be out on Ash Wednesday, February 25th in the United States.
I may not know you, but I do want to let my brothers and sisters know about this movie. Some people are concerned the movie might be too violent. But let's be honest, the Cross was violent! Crucifixion was a brutal form of execution. When Jesus died for my sins, the nails were real, his flesh broke, and the blood fell. This incredible (and violent) act paid the price that I couldn't pay. After seeing the violence that Jesus may have suffered, I want to know him more, I want to be a more committed follower of Jesus, I want people to know what Jesus did. Because of this, I personally believe it's worth the risk of taking some heat by promoting this movie. So I don't really care about being made fun of for posting a 'religious' message. If you want to help others to realize what Christ did for us, encourage them to see this movie!

*re-reads post*
*rolls eyes*
Believe me, the movie does not need any more promotion. Go watch it, enjoy it, keep your beliefs to yourself, and thank you very much for the good laugh this morning.
