That's a werewolf???!

tarotgalGods, I think I'm really not going to like this next HP movie. The few who have seen it say it's fantastic. Of course, the few who have seen it are Alfonzo's friends and probably don't care that werewolves are supposed to look a lot like wolves in the HP world... not skinny greyhounds that seem to have been dipped in vats of acid or something. I just... I want to wash my eyes out with soap. If that turns out to be the fully transformed Remus I'm going to scream. *sigh* I just don't know. I'm sure in the end there will be loads of things I'll like. Like Snape in a dress and Lupin's scars and the bed in the shack and the Knight bus and Pettigrew cowering. But some of the things I dislike just happen to be ones that make a big difference to me (like Lupin's moustache and Oliver Wood not even being IN the damn movie and Snape protecting the trio and the werewolf looking like... I dunno what it looks like, but it's not a werewolf!!!)
*sigh* And I understand that things can't look exactly as I picture them. But I really have a problem with important things defying canon. *sniffles* I'm just sore about Oliver and Lupin, that's all. I'm sure I'll get over it. I'll go hug my furry Moony stuffed animal and be happy. Oh GODS! Can you imagine giving a kid a stuffed animal of THAT werewolf? Dear gods, it would give him nightmares. Okay, and yeah, werewolves ARE stupposed to be scary... but there are also supposed to be, I dunno, WOLVES for f#ck's sake. LOL Do viscious, man-eating werewolves have to look like zombie skinny men with wolf heads after a radioactive fallout in order to be scary? Methinks not! Methinks the man-eating part is pretty damn scary enough! LOL Forgive me. I'm a canon whore who likes wolves to look like wolves(albeit with the minor changes to snout length, etc. mentioned directly in the books) I like a comment someone else made on the R/S community about how if this was a werewolf any DADA prof would be MAD to give a question like 'name the differences between a werewolf and a real wolf' because there's NO way anyone's confusing that ugly thing with a real wolf, even if its face is wolf-like. LOL
I'm sure, in the end, I'll enjoy a lot of the movie. I just can't take many more of these horrible changes.
