I'm trying to expand my cognitive world and develop deeper tastes for certain pairings... admittedly, I really do need to give Gimli/Legolas a try... just not before I start/finish my Aragorn/Legolas fic or I'll start getting all confused and it'll turn into a smut-filled three-way which, I'll also admit, does seem like fun but just maybe not on my second time out.

That being said... I've been into Percy/Oliver lately. Just read a fantastic fic called 'In the World of Strangers' which pushed me over the edge, I think. I really adore the two of them now. Then again, Cedric/Oliver was kinda cute, especially with all the Gryff girls on Olly's team oggling over Ced... and Oliver's the one to bang him in the locker rooms.. yeah... definately has it's own appeal... But Percy/Oliver are SO sweet and just have this tender, soft, easing into life together feel to them.

It's a very exciting feeling, you know? Understanding that bond between two characters in a way you've never seen it before. And it's almost impossible to go back on it... very exciting... yummy slashy goodness.

Ug, I wish I had only one fangirly moment of the day! LOL I seem to have more and more the older I get... that can't be right, can it? LOL

Yeah... there's just something about both of those pairings that's just... indescribably adorable. Eventually I'm positive I will be writing one or the other...hopefully much of both. I just need to get through current stories first.
Then again, every time I say that, the muses back me into a corner and force an expected fic out of me. So we'll see. lol But for now *sigh* Happy new pairings for me to explore...
