tarotgalWent out to dinner with boyfriend. He is having a bad day. His computer power button broke off (it's been about to break for 3 years now... happened about 3 months after he bought the computer) so he can't turn it on any more and it shut off when we had our power turned off, obviously.
I finished the Friday Fic I started 2 weeks ago. So I can start fresh this Friday, guilt-free :-) It's the O.C. And the show hasn't been on for 2 weeks, but it's on tonight. So I might watch it before I finish editing and post the story, just to be sure it's got the right tone and all. Anyhoo... that's my night. I'm taping Survivor since I missed it being out with boyfriend to dinner.
So I'm going to watch the end then rewind and watch the beginning during O.C. commercials :-)
So, that's that. Just FYI :-) Head hurts... silly motrin hasn't kicked in yet. Probably won't. I think it's a sleep headache. I've had 9 hours of sleep over the past 2 nights. Which isn't bad... but I've been getting more lately so my body's made at me. And I'll probably get only 2 or 3 hours sleep tonight so it can continue to be angry with me all it likes. LOL
EDIT: I'm watching The O.C. It's such a guilty pleasure show. *blush* But I find it compelling and adorable. They just made fun of older people trying to play high schoolers on TV, when the two lads are playing high schoolers and are 23 and 25 in RL. LOL And one of them was going on about possibly seeing Natalie and Kira, etc. and his girlfriend slaps him (my boyfriend loves Natalie Portman too, I can relate) and he says "What, you pine over Logolas" and she replies with "That's completely different. He's an elf. He saved Middle Earth. That's an important part of European History" LOL Okay, those might not be exact quotes but you get my point. heehee! Any show that supports Legolas fangirls is all right in my book! LOL
EDIT #2: I must say, I find it absolutely hilarious when shows make fun of themselves and their actors. LOL Really. Amusing. Fuuuuuuuunny show :-)

Date: 2004-03-25 12:39 am (UTC)That show is crazy, my father was born in Orange and it makes him laugh at how they portray his town. Not everyone in CA is like that, mind you. My father didn't live in a mansion and the only reason he grew up there was because my grandfather worked for the Union Pacific Railroad. Oh well, it wouldn't sell if it was about the real "OC" I guess.
