Exhausting

I went to bed a little after 4am... got up a little before 7am. Drove 40 minutes away... only took the wrong turns twice (I got off of the interstate at the wrong place, and turned into the wrong parking lot at the right building) On the way home I made 4 wrong moves. *sigh* I suck at driving in places I've never been before.
Anyway, I ate a PB&J in the car, then went to the expo. Wow. It felt much like I thought it would. Had a distinctive State Science Fair feel to it.
I learned some spiffy teacher vocabulary words... realized I don't know anything- which is what I thought going in, so it wasn't really a realization... and I had 3 interviews. I had fun with them, even if I was exhausted! One of them was most interesting and the guy was like "Please, please make that follow-up phone call" It's a school district that gives out laptops to all its students and teachers and does everything down to daily homework assignments online *TG salivates* I love much much! The guy asked me if I'd be willing to sponsor any clubs, etc. because they pay teachers to do that. I and I was like: Wait. Hold on. Teachers get PAID for sponsoring clubs??? HOT DAMN! I was an organization!whore in high school. Band, Lit magazine, Odyssey of the Mind (I love OM), Theater crew, Science fair, computer club, Try Hi Y (service organization), Science society, science outreach club, honor society... to think that I would actually get PAID to do those things and have fun with the kids doing them. HELL YEAH!!!!!!!! Sign me up for everything!!!!! :-) Dear gods, if I'd only known...
I got better in each interview. They all ask a lot of the same questions, so between interviews I wrote down all the questions and worked on answers. I think the next time I have an interview it will go even better. They're NOTHING like the interviews I had for computer company jobs, though. Couldn't GET more different! I've been on, like, 15 interviews in my life... and these today were so different it's not even funny. Okay, maybe a little funny, but you know what I mean. Every field has its own style. And these were shockingly different from any interview I'd ever had before.
Damn. If only I had a teaching license. LOL My secret desire of the day is to coach an OM team now *G*
Boyfriend just called. His car broke down. He's going to call me to pick him up. So I can't crash and sleep the rest of the afternoon. Head is killing me. Less 12 hours of sleep in 3 days. That's not too bad... just enough to make me wish I could get just a couple more minutes. Going to eat. Very hungry. Eating keeps me awake for when boyfriend calls.
I need to buy a new black blazer. Mine's too small since I gained weight. Growl. Hiss. Bad TG gaining weight. Must lose 30+ pounds. Must must.
Must eat and sleep first, though. LOL So exhausted...
