Went to sleep at 2am... woke up at 5am... drove over 4 hours to state capital... went to 3 sessions and lunch- all of which were MORE helpful and incredible than I thought they'd be- I love conferences- for a total of 5 hours (from 9:15ish to 2:15ish)... then drove home from 2:20ish to 6:45. Boyfriend came with- it was helpful just to have someone there so I didn't freak out when I couldn't find an open parking garage- finally found a very strange lot but parked there with a bunch of other conference people. Everyone was soooo nice. ANd I found out loads of stuff that make all my confusion about getting a teaching license go *poof* and away. Yay! :-) Boyfriend didn't drive, though. I did it all myself. He just hung out and read while I went to the sessions and took notes. It was a 3 day event- I wish I could have gone to all of it. I adore conferences. And the people were soooooooooooooooo much friendlier and passionate than they are at the computing and engineering conferences I've been to *happy sigh*

Came home, showered, talked to Mom(Dad's getting home from Armenia tonight), ate pizza at boyfriends', fell asleep during beginning of Fargo-Boyfriend wouldn't watch A Knight's Tale- then finally got him to have sex (the whole reason I was waiting around, LOL). Now it's 10:44 and I'm finally home... almost 16 hours after waking up, on only 3 hours of sleep and more interstate driving than I like (I like none... there were SO many accidents today). But it was worth it. Tired now. Going to dig out a nice comfort movie to fall asleep in front of.

All my mix CD's (Especially the all Ewan one with music from Velvet Goldmineincluding the bits just from the movie not on the soundtrack, Life Less Ordinary, Trainspotting, Down with Love, and Moulin Rouge... and the Sirius/Remus songs CD) were REALLY helpful. I even made a CD of songs I YELL when I sing. So those helped me stay awake on the long drive home, especially. I didn't yell... but I felt energized. So all was good and happy. And now I can relax.

Didn't get the Friday Fic done yesterday, I'm afraid. Was too busy printing out registration and directions and all that. And I probably won't have my Weekly Hatchling story done, either (as it's only 2 paragraphs long) I might just make it a short short story, though. We'll see. TIRED. Want to sleep. LONG day.
Oh... but got a good idea for a new Highlander episodic music video. So yay for that, too! :-) And I was inspired to pick up the massive Remus story I started a year ago that I've been really wanting to work on. Hrmmmmm....

Cat is glad I'm home. He's like a dog. He's so happy just to have me here and won't let me leave the room unless he follows :-) We played fetch a little when I got home and was on the phone. He's happy. I'm happy. Yay. Good times, good times :-) LOL
