I was just watching Judging Amy... it's the episode where Maxine is putting her house up to have boarders. ANd the agent inspecting/listing the house is none other than Michelle Clunie. I didn't recognize her at first... about 2 minutes in she says "nest egg" and that's not a term I hear a lot... or ever, really. So it made me think about QaF when Melanie uses that term (spends the money her father gave her so Linds can stay home with the baby) and I'm like "WAIT! That is Melanie!" LOL Funny what connections your brain has to make in order for you to figure things out. Sometimes it's the voice... sometimes the look... Usually it doesn't take me as long as it did this time, but I find it funny. EVERYONE has been on Judging Amy, it seems. LOL Like Law and Order. Easy shows to go through when you're doing a 7 degrees thing. :-)

That totally happened to me recently, only mine was waaaaay dumber. I had only gotten into Liam Neeson within the last few years really. And I re-watched Ep 1, and then saw the Haunting was on tv, and then made the connection that he was in both films! I also didn't place him in the movie High Spirits Either! lol. It's always Liam Neeson for me! Always! Lol. I know it's not really the same thing, but things like that always happen to me. I also didn't know that it was Ewan in Shallow Grave until after I really became a Ewan fanatic and realised, Oh wait, I saw the movie! That was HIM?? lol. Really makes me think sometimes...!

I taped the Haunting the other night... missed the first 7 minutes or so, but I'd seen it before. I could recognize Liam anywhere, though. I think Nell was the first thing I saw with him in it. I think. *scratches head* It's been a while. Hard to remember.
But, yeah, exactly. I can go through movies or shows several times without knowing. Else I just sit there the whole time TRYING to figure out who it is and going mad until I do. More times than not, I know I know the person but I can't figure out where. I feel really stupid when I don't even recognize them when I should. Especially if it's one of my favorite actors or someone I've seen a gazillion hours of.
