Went out to dinner with boyfriend. Had yummy french toast and hash browns.
Parents and sister might be staying for a Thursday/Friday as there are a number of colleges nearby and sister is doing the typical Spring break tour of as many VA colleges as she can. So I must leave time to clean in the event that she does come down here and they stay overnight.
I gave up on Thesis for the afternoon and finished the Remus/Sirius story. Ohhhhhhh MAN it's a good one! I'm having a lot of fun with it. It's angst with more angst and then a sex scene and a little humor and then more angst. And some sneezing in there somewhere. It needs a little work before I can post it... I want to include more reference to the "Your Wildest Dreams" lyrics. They just fit the fic so well, I can't help but integrate them more.
The team I voted for in the Trading Spaces Home Free contest last week won this week. Yay! I missed the episode at 8pm, but I'll catch the repeat tonight. I was out to dinner and taping charmed instead. But I saw the beginning. Yay red team! I really wanted the gay guys to win, but my second choice is the black couple. They were SO adorable and so much fun last week. And they made the best room I'd seen yet. So I'll be interested to see how this round goes. I love that show.
Went to sleep this morning around 6am... Bram Stoker's Dracula was on. Unfortunately, I just saw the parts with Keanu and Winona before falling asleep. No Gary *pout* But it was already post-naked women so much of handsome!Dracula was over by that time in the movie.
I've been watching the 10th Kingdom yet again. Yes, there are silly parts, but I still think it's one of the most brilliant things ever written. *snuggles Wolf* The dialogue is genius. The plot and tie-ins are outstanding. It really makes me happy :-)
Okay... I think that's it. Oh. And the fact that I'm STILL amused that today is 4/4/04. Man. That just ROCKS! Very very very cool. I love April. Probably because my birthday's in April. I've always had a soft spot for the month in general. So much rain. So many pretty flowers.
Gah. Flowers. *feels sudden urge to pick up her Faramir fic* LOL
Okay... off to edit a little... I think. I'm tired... I want a nap... hrmm...

Date: 2004-04-04 06:22 pm (UTC)My brother's birthday is today, actually.
Also, Happy Birthday today to Lord Elrond/Agent Smith himself, Hugo Weaving. And just to bake your noodle, he's 44 today!

Date: 2004-04-04 06:29 pm (UTC)Wow... 44, though. I wouldn't have guessed. Actually... that's probably pretty close to what I would have guessed. I'd have said 40, probably. A very yummy, sexy, handsome 40. Happy birthday Hugo! And happy birthday to your brother!! Yay April! :-)
Mmm... yes, Faramir. It's... actually, no, I won't say anything and spoil it. But I hope it turns out to be a good story. The beginning was pretty good. I put it on hold to write for the Spring challenge but as we're not having one, I'm still not going to give up on it.

Date: 2004-04-04 06:43 pm (UTC)The Oracle says it right after Neo apologizes for breaking the vase in her kitchen. She says 'What's really going to bake your noodle is, would you still have broken it if I hadn't said anything.'
sorry...I'm in a mood for obscure references for some reason today.
