Stupid people mowing lawns today. I went out to get some things done, and had to cut my trip short. The weather was just killing me. Couldn't breathe. Pollen everywhere- covering my car still. Literally couldn't stay out there any longer. Growl. Stupid spring. Stupid hot weather *sigh* So I didn't get my car inspected and I didn't buy Boyfriend wine... but I can do the former tomorrow and I don't really give a damn about the later, though I sent him an apology already anyway.
I did manage to go to Kinkos and send faxes to both Google and Yahoo. ANd I sent CNN an e-mail last night. So here's hoping I get approval to site them in my thesis soon. Cost me bloody $12 to send the faxes, but at this point I don't care :-) Went to Target- they were sold out of 'Timeline'. Bother! I was going to watch it tonight! *sniffles* I'll just go to Walmart tonight and get it, and spend the gift card at Target on Big Fish next Tuesday. Yummy nummy Ewan baby *snuggles*
Turned on the channel on the TV this morning to TNT (which is what is on from roughly 5:30am until 7 or 8pm in my apartment, and Thewlis' face appeared on the screen! LOL It was Island of Dr.Moreau(sp?) but just ending. It was his big "There had to have been a one!" scene. Ick. Gah. Hate his moustache. *shudder*
Need to do laundry, but am waiting until the neighbors stop mowing.
Just thought I'd post a nice slashy (ick, just kidding...) quote from a bloopers show that was on last night. Ah. Got to hate him: "For seven and a half years I've worked alongside President Reagan. We've had triumphs. Made some mistakes. We've had some sex...uh...setbacks." – George Bush Sr., in 1987 or 1988
I really thought I'd posted a lot of pictures of my cat here before... given responses last night, I guess I haven't... I might have to post a couple of my favorites later to make up for that! Bwahaha! Yes... I'm a proud Mommy :-) Or a strange one. I have a photo album just for my cat. He also has a $30 water dish, about $150 in toys, and his own laundry basket to play in. And still he demands constant attention from me like a dog :-)

Date: 2004-04-22 06:08 pm (UTC)At least the Bushes are amusing, right? In a very sad "Remember when we elected people who actually had a good presence speaking?" sort of way. Or even a "Remember when we actually elected our presidents?" sort of way. LOL
But it was pretty darn funny. Fell asleep during part of the show, have some of it on tape. But I'm glad I saw that part. I definitely needed a laugh :-)

Date: 2004-04-22 06:57 pm (UTC)And that's just a sampling of what I've been doing for the last few minutes...AH! Baaaaad thoughts! BA-AD images! I must go and gouge out my mind's eye! Wonder how to do that, actually...Imagine/stare at a pointy rock? (as, of course, would be the prefered utensil of gougers the world over...) GAH!
Both...together...Regeanomics..."Read my lips"...DAMN his his Freudian slip!

Date: 2004-04-22 07:01 pm (UTC)I think reading Obi is precisely what is needed to get image out of head! Yes!
Believe me, it's better reading it than having watched him say it. He didn't really even attempt to correct himself. I can't remember him even saying "uh" but I know he paused briefly. Ick. Sorry.
Yes! Read Obi! That's ALWAYS good!!!
LOL stare at pointy rock... :-)
