tarotgalStrange day/night. Kept falling asleep at the computer. Then every time I went to take a nap I either got interupted or couldn't fall asleep. Grrr. Headache on and off, too. I just couldn't wake up all day... I hate that feeling...
I don't think I'm sick... though I appreciate all the very sweet messages earlier today. They certainly helped me feel better :-) I think it's just allergies, even though I'm on meds. But after about 3 hours of being awake, symptoms pretty much vanished... except for a mild sore throat. Gods I hate the spring/summer. Growl. They spent 4 hours on Friday cutting the grass and all around my apartment complex... it was possibly a very delayed response to that... or maybe just the normal allergy bit. Or maybe it's a strange on again off again cold. LOL But *HUGS* I MORE than appreciate all the nice wishes this morning. I did feel like crap.
Anyhoo, I posted a story for this week's hatching on sneezefic. Managed to finish it and roughly edit it tonight. But, again with the falling asleep constantly bit. Hope it's not too bad. I caught a LOT of mistakes while editing. But it was an interesting fic to write... it's the one that I kept getting stuck on... and I think the ending is a complete cop-out. VERY cheesey. But I couldn't manage to get it to end anywhere else any other way. So I had to take the dumb route out. Sorry about that. Um... just concentrate on the characters instead of the weak attempt at a plot, okay? *G*
Posted this next week's hatching also... fortunately I have never seen American Dreams so I don't feel pressured to write this one. But I still ahve so many unfinished stories... gah...
And Hermione- It's all right. I knew you didn't mean it like that. I've just been exposed to a lot of negativity on the subject of slash on various discussion lists/communities and it was just the last straw of the day, you know? I know you meant the comment about JKR's reaction in a joking way- just as I'd been joking about it in the post. But it just hurt a bit seeing my boys being singled out as part of a joke, that's all. I love my boys, so I'm sensitive about that. Especially my woobies and puppies. But, really, no hard feelings about it. The original post was one of humor and I'd no reason to expect you were replying with anything other than that. It's just easier in the future not to diss slash in front of me, even if it's in passing. Thanks for understanding. No harm done. *hugs*
