YAY!!!!
They're showing the "uncut" version with all the deleted scenes added back in! I thought they might... but I wasn't sure. Awwwwwwww *snuggles the Christmas scene of Ron going over to comfort Harry in front of the fire*
Yay! I'm glad I decided to tape this after all. I thought I might be able to catch all the special interviews and all around Survivor and tape Charmed instead... but I settled on catching Charmed when it repeated on Tuesday on TNT, taping Harry Potter, and watching Survivor. Gah! Busy Sunday- LOL :-)
YAY deleted scenes!! I never managed to convinced Boyfriend to get through the games on the HP1 DVD to see them all, so I made sure he was watching tonight to see them. *bounces* I love that scene with Ron and Harry by the fire... my cute angsty little boy *hugs*... and the Weasley boys being all brotherly on Christmas. heehee Put on your jumper! Come on, they're lovely and warm! *G*

Oh, LOL! Took me about 5 minutes altogether to get to them... but I'm a nut who remembers obsure things and I've got a good eye. *G* Boyfriend just never took the time to find them.

I just find it nice to see them actually in the movie for a change- the way they were supposed to be. The movie makes much more sense that way, rather than the original cut.

It was on from 7-11 Sunday night. EST. Remember? I live in Virginia? Just a couple hours south from you... :-)
They had a lot of making-of HP1 video clips throughout, and it was hosted by the trio actors. And at the end they showed lots of new stuff from the third movie. Yay! Yummy new footage *eats it up hungrily*

Yeah... thanks to the lovely TLC LJ feed, I was reminded that it was on and for what time to set my VCR :-)

Thanks for the tip! I hadn't realized that this would be the uncut version of HP. I am, however, really glad that I'm not taping it tonight, as we're under a thunderstorm watch and there's a permanent 'T-storm watch' message in the upper left corner of the screen, and a little map of the counties affected on the lower left corner, plus the ABC logo on the bottom right...and that's when they're not reducing the picture size to about 2/3 of the screen so they can run more weather news bulletins and the like. Arrgh...

I'll be watching Survivor tonight for sure. I have only missed one episode this season, and that's pretty impressive considering I never watched a single episode until halfway through 'Pearl Islands'. Needless to say, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Rupert, though I'm not gonna hold my breath. I'd be happy to see anyone but Rob win, at this point.

Yeah... not only were we under a thunderstorm watch but our picture was cut away from for 10 minutes as they explained to us that we had an intense, sudden, dangerous hail warning. Oh my gods... I've only been through hail this bad once in my life and WHOA... it wasn't good. My car doesn't have any dents but it was pretty bad for a little while there. I don't really mind the small picture and cuts away, though. I have it on DVD after all. It's sort of fun to watch a tape after 3 or 4 years and remember all the commercials and news stories from back then *G*
There's a certain charm to it. So I don't mind the small picture and continuous scrolling and all that which we've had for a long while tonight.

As for Survivor... ARG!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not a happy chica!!

LoL, I've had this marked on every calender in the house for months. I love the little comments in between from Dan, Rupert, and Emma.

Btw, I've been meaning to mention this ever since I first saw it, but - I adore your icon. I mean LOVE it. It's just so...gah! ::is jealous:: I spent the first five minutes after I clicked the hurt/comfort link watching it, literally.

Me too! I didn't realize the Survivor finale would be on at the same time, though. So I had to reshuffle priorities. I'm glad it meant taping the HP movie now, though. I'm going to go watch it now... only saw the first hour before Survivor started. I'm going to start with the PoA stuff first though *G*

Awwww! I'm glad you like the icon! Does it run too fast for you to read it? I'm thinking I should extend it about 10 seconds on each frame...
But, yeah, their expressions were so serious in those photos... I couldn't help but use them for that scene. *G* I love when they do things together, anyway *G* heehee!

Oh... don't get me started with Mr.Olivander! He not only frightens me but I really think the guy was a death eater. Was... is... you know what I mean.

The little "He who must not be named did great things..." speech always freaks me out. LOL I sort of like the idea of a wandmaker who makes wands he knows may be used for dark purposes... and that it's the magic that's important to him, not the good/bad part of it. That's a VERY interesting philosophy for a somewhat ambiguous character. But I still think he's kinda creepy and is probably a death eater. LOL
But I love John Hurt. NO ONE could have played the character like he did. Sends shivers up my spine.
