Went on another Walmart run with boyfriend tonight- we've been listening to the Harry Potter third book every time we go out into town because it's a long enough drive to enjoy it... we made it through chapter 17 entirely tonight... ooohhh getting good! The dog pulling Ron into the Willow... Sirius Black being an animagus... them all doing the shrieking shack thing... and then enter Lupin. Eeeekk!! We got to "I won't deny I am a werewolf" just as we got to Walmart. heehee It was a VERY quick shop so we could get back in. He had remembered last night that Snape had had them all writing werewolf essays... so he thought it had to be someone... but he hadn't guessed Lupin. We finished chapter 17 on the way home, then I asked if he wanted 18 (MY chapter *G*) He said "YES!" like a boy addicted to, er, anything really addictive. SO we listened to 18... and I kept my reciting quiet through most of Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs. I drove all around town pointlessly for the next 15 minutes to let the chapter finish, and managed to time it pretty well... it finished a minute before we pulled into home. Boyfriend was convulsing when Snape pulled off the cloak. "Nooooo!" he yelled and hit himself in the head. It was GREAT! Ooohhhh SO thrilling to be living it again for the first time. He wanted more, but I wouldn't give him any. That was as good a stopping point as any. He knows about the map, and about the animagi and the 'joke'/'incident' and then enter Snape *G* So it's a good stopping point but Eeeekkkk! So exciting to watch his reactions! I wish I could have videotaped him so I could remember what lines he laughed at more than others, where he was confused, where he was amazed... GODS I love those chapters! *sigh* Tis quite amusing. I'll shut up and go finish my first paper and start my second now... nothing like leaving things to the last minute, eh? Ah, but twas well worth it for Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs. *G* So happy!
