Randomness

tarotgalI've not been sleeping... it's very weird... I went to bed at 7:30 and woke up at 11... why? Well, cat was on my chest meowing loudly... but I wasn't tired and didn't go back to sleep.
Anyway... just thought I'd ramble about some randomness.
Academy Awards- I loved Nicole :-) Adrien was adorable!! I could have died at peter O'Toole's eloquence *sigh* Going to have to watch Lawrence of Arabia when I get home tonight. Heck, maybe it will finally inspire me to finally finish that Young Indy fic I started all those years ago... I stopped it because I wasn't too sure of Ned(T.E.Lawrence)'s character and historical facts, etc. I also really want to see 'Goodybe Mr. Chips' I love Michael Moore, despite his perhaps slightly inapropriate timing. I still love him, and agree with him.. I just probably wouldn't have had the guts to go as far as he did... but I still love him and I'll vote for a ficas tree if one's running in my district if he tells me to :-) ANd I wish LotR:TTT would have won more... but it was still lovely to see Sean Astin's face once or twice throughout the ceremony. Gods that lad is a cutie! *snuggles Samwise*
ChubbChubbs- I just watched 'The ChubbChubbs' (which won for best short animation) It was FANTASTIC!!! I'm so terribly impressed! What a cute short!!! And ok, the star wars (and ET) references helped, but ooooohhhhhh they were SOOOOOOOOOO cute! Almost makes me want to sing... er... ok, no. But it was SO cute
Food- I'm waiting for my peanutbutter and jelly sandwich to defrost. Yes, that's right. I bought 'Uncrustables' and they are hilarious. As if you can't make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich... have to buy it premade and frozen.. just defrost... it's TOO FUNNY! But it actually tastes good (though I like crust). Still, the concept makes me laugh so hard I had to try them... and they're good... though I just have to try not to laugh while eating. LOL Frozen PB&J without crusts... what WILL they think of next?????

I watched a bit of oscar's, but I knew I should be studying, so didn't enjoy it as much.
How did you watch chubchubs? On computer?!? I'm dying to see it! I saw the guy win for it. :)
I laughed out loud at your description of boyfriend getting excited about chapter 18!! hehehe, I can just see it. It's awesome!
my sister just made me dinner, so I gotta go eat it. (yummmmmy) wish me luck on studying!

Date: 2003-03-24 04:10 pm (UTC)Yes, I downloaded it off the internet (bad me!) and watched it. I think it's on the Men in Black II DVD as a short but I have never rented it so I cannot be certain. It was soooooooooooo cute. I love shorts (especially animated ones) like the birds before Monsters Inc.(did I ever play you the director's commentary from that? It's adorable!) and ChubbChubbs was ADORABLE! :-) I'm glad it won, but I hadn't seen any of the competitors except for Mike's New car which was cute but I would have been very disapointed had it won. Although the commentary for it is even better (it's done by the directors' sons so it's two little kids talking about the film LOL)
Anyhoo... dinner. Mmmm. Boyfriend and I are going right now. Say hi to YK for me!!!!!! Looking forward to listening to more HP in the car... it's getting good! heehee
