My last couple days, in short.

Wed- Sister's bday. Computer was evil. Dad came home from the Ukraine after 2 weeks. Big ass thunderstorms.

Thurs- Dad gave us presents from his trip- I got a little clay kitty (grey with stripes like my Maxwellian) by a computer, a BEAUTIFUL journal with a gold celtic knot on the cover (he had a layover in Ireland on the way home) and the BEST present ever- a real hockey jersey! My first! It's Fedotenko from Tampa Bay's. It's his Ukraine jersey from when he was in the 2002 Olympics! Well, not his but his name and number are on it. Oohhhhh is SOOO frigging cool!! Photobucket is not cooperating but I'll post a pic of him in a bit.

Friday- taped Stargate Atlantis. Got read for yard sale. Spent the WHOLE day organizing and pricing and cleaning things for our family yard sale. Is soooo painful to get rid of some stuff. We're giving all the clothes and books and some toys straight to charity, but all the stuff we don't sell today goes there along with it. We're really only selling a lot of toys and puzzles and games... all of which break my heart to part with. My first desk is the only piece of furniture we're parting with. Well, that and my old headboard- which I love to death because it's the kind with vertical wooden thingies so you can hold onto them during sex. Not that I was having sex in my bed at age 5 or whatever, but the point is, I love headboards like that. I'm parting with a few of my precious videos, too... but only because I have those particular movies on DVD already. I look forward to imagining the faces of the people at the donation center (I volunteered there for 5 years) when they pull the Rocky Horror Picture Show on VHS out of the donation bag. Unless it sells today.

I've been up since 3pm Friday and I'm not going to sleep until well after 1pm when the yard sale is over and we've moved things back in. Raging headache... but I can manage. We've been sorting and organizing for days. I just want this to be OVER!

Lots of extended and immediate family issues with the teens, also. *sigh* And grandfather's coming to visit from Santa Barbara this upcoming Wed which is why we're clearing out stuff today... and we'll be cleaning until Wed. Ah... fun and joy!

I've been writing a lot, too. Just on paper, not computer. I've got about 5 stories I need to type up. And that Remus & Snape one is nearly finished... it's about 80% finished. I'm excited about that one. Tis the first longish fic I've written in a couple months. Yay!

Okay... I'm trying to stay awake, can you tell? I watched QAF ep 10 yesterday- cried and laughed and sobbed at the very end! *snuggles the boys* ANd I just watched ep 11. Ahhh! Only 3 more eps left for the season! *cries* I must admit I've been watching 'I Love the 90's' like a crazy person. Partly because I do find the 90's much more amusing than any other time period. There wasn't a certain look like in other decades. The 90's were just pure, weird crap. And partly because I LOVE HAL! I think I've probably annoyed my family to death by mentioning how much I want him. But, eh, I don't care. Because I do. So there.

Okay... going to go eat something... and take more headache medicine. This is the time I usually get so tired that I fall asleep for the night. And instead I get to go move about 30 big boxes into the van and/or down the street (ah, the joys of having a yard sale when you don't actually have a yard...)

First thing I have to mention is SOB, how I want VH1!! *whine wibble complain* So many people tell me how funny Hal is, and I'm forced to sit here, sucking up any details I can get through the straw that is my friends telling me. Sigh. I want it more than I want my Pridevision back, I think. Or, almost.

As for Queer as Folk episode ten... I LOVE that episode, for so many reasons. But mostly because of the Ben/Michael moment at the end. The dance. That part made me laugh and cry at the same time, and I was smiling and sighing every few minutes for hours afterwards. Sister described it as 'glowing', which amused me. But yeah, the whole episode was a good one. Brian confronting his mum again, about how being gay isn't evil, and how God didn't give him a second chance so he could fix his life, but so he could continue to fuck any man he wanted. And Emmett helping Teddy, and being all pleased with himself when Drew agreed to do it. Just... I could go on and on. But I won't, cause... I'm probably boring. LOL Only part I didn't like was Linds in the gallery with Sam. Rrr. Right. Shutting up now, I swear. :-x *G*
