Cleaning Stories Folder & Court TV
Aug. 11th, 2004 11:06 pmCourt TV is always on in my parents' house. I'm quite hooked. But I just watched 'In the Juryroom' and... wow... I'm amazed they could film in the jury room and all. It's fascinating to me. Maybe just because I read 12 Angry Men at an early age and loved it, then read it again in high school in class and loved it more. But, yeah, I find this sort of thing very interesting. And Scott Peterson's guilty as sin.
But moving on... I organized my stories folder for the first time today. Created subfolders which is something I was VERY hesitant to do. I can always throw everything in one big folder again if I need to, I suppose. But, yeah. Now I have a folder for finished stories, finished fandom stories, and finished fetish-related stories. And everything else is unfinished.
Total count of unfinished stories: 183
Yes. You read that right. One hundred and eighty-three fics I've started and not finished. Bloody hell. Worst part of it is, I've intentions to finish all but about twenty of them one day. But... yeah... it's a lot. And at least 30 have been from the last couple weeks. They're just... yeah. And that's not including the ones I haven't even started typing up yet! Or the ideas I've made a list of on the special page in my notebook because I don't have time to start the fics for them yet *smacks self on forehead* Okay, so some of them are decent, normal stories with the possibility of actual publication. But putting them altogether and counting them... shite. It's cool and overwhelming all at once. *feels for her poor, neglected stories*

Oh, and one more thing: The Sopranos! Yay! Thanks God for DVD or else I could never see cable shows. Knowing you, are you by any chance watching one with your beloved Joey Pants? LOL. Speaking of him, I saw he's in a new show on CBS with Rob Lowe called Dr. Vegas. I'm assuming Lowe is on that show because the Lyon's Den was canceled. So I'm assuming that The Handler was canceled too? You'd probably know more than me since you watched it. I was just curious.
Rambling again....Good luck and happy writing!

Date: 2004-08-12 09:15 am (UTC)But I'm soooooo looking forward to Dr.Vegas. I love my Joey to death, don't get my wrong. But I'm looking forward to seeing him in a supporting role again which better shows off his talents as a character actor. And Rob Lowe... I love Rob Lowe(I'm a brat pack fan)... I hate the Vegas culture, but I'm still really looking forward to that show! Joey!!
Thanks for looking out for me! :-) It's always appreciated. :-)
As for The Sopranos... nope, it was just episodes 1-4 in season 1. The very first. I've avoided watching much of the series on HBO because I wanted to see it from the start. I've seen two episodes with Joey, though. Including the one where he gets whacked (which normally I'd be sad about, but I adore horses and the mistreatment of death of an animal is unforgivable in my book. And you can't fuck with Tony and expect to live)
I'll slowly work my way through the series and get to him sooner or later. I'm not fully in love yet with the series... but I like it. And Tony's great. Him I love already. Must be that conflicted, angsty, vulnerable man thing.
Oh, as for Scott... I gave him the benefit for a week or two waaay back when he was taken into custody. I was even somewhat doubtful during his pre-trial hearing. But now that I've heard so much evidence there's absolutely no way I believe he's innocent. There really *isn't* anyone who could have possibly done it and lots of circumstancial evidence supports that he did it. They've definitely proved to me beyond a resonable doubt. I can but hope the jury will be able to piece the whole thing together and see the big picture as well. But I listen to enough of the defense atts. on CourtTV to know there are still a lot of people out there who think he's not guilty.
