After going through my unfinished weekly hatching fics when posting bits of them yesterday, I was wondering why I didn't write anything for #11. So after feeling all piratey after watching Pirates of Dark Water, I popped in the PotC DVD and wrote a small fic. It spilled onto 3 pages *gulps guiltily* but if you take out the heading it's only 2 pages. So I think it fits the hatching bunny specifications all right. It was all that darn editing which pushed it over :-)

I have an idea for a Will fic for it, too. But I don't think I can resist slash in that one. The temptation is just too strong. Yummy boys...

On a completely different note... I think I'm going to take a trip to Best Buy and use my gift card. I promised 'Love Actually' I'd buy it... but I'm feeling sort of torn and now I'm leaning towards 'The Road to El Dorado' and 'Van Helsing'(which isn't out until Oct but I'm trying to plan, heehee). So I don't know. We'll see how long my self restraint lasts when it comes to DVD purchases. *bites lip nervously and inches towards $20 gift card*

Technically people pronounce his name both ways. But I believe it's supposed to be the second one you spelled out there (You-wen). Sexy boy. *drool* He's definitely my favorite actor ever ever ever :-)

Ok, call me stupid, but I can't seem to find the fic bits you posted. Where are they, specifically? I see no trace of them on your update journal, so probably I'm just looking in the wrong spot...

No worries. I did indeed post a couple fics on the yahoo group. Glad you found 'em. I'm going to post a Will/Jack one in a couple minutes... as soon as I come up with a darn title. Grrr! But the unfinished fic bits are just on the update journal still, so see my other reply for those.

Fascinating? Me? *blushes furiously* Thank YOU! :-) I'm glad you enjoy them so much.

Once I thought of "adopting" one of my own unfinished fics every week and posting the beginning, middle, etc. as I worked on it. But then I realized even that probably wouldn't get me to finish some of these fics, and it would really bore people after a while. When I write, I tend to read over what I have so far, and do so over and over again until the fic is finished. I think if anyone else were to observe my writing skills and unfinished fics they'd go mad. And I certainly wouldn't want to post all 200 unfinished fics for comments. But putting them up on that journal might help me easily go through and remember ones I want to work on again. Here's hoping *crosses fingers* And of course the fb is always good :-)

I think I might rent it first... just so it gets equal consideration with the others. And I did promise it I'd buy it. And I'm getting paid tomorrow so I'll feel less guilty buying anything at that point in time.
