I got paid today. It's not a lot, but money is good. Yes yes. I feel EXACTLY like Neela on ER tonight. With an important degree and specialized skills and not wanting to do anything in it and getting a crappy job instead. Gods, I love her storyline right now. It's terrible. LOL
I had a bad experience getting gas on the way home yesterday. The station was *very* busy (we're talking people waiting in line 3 cars back behind each pump!). And then the pump I got had a broken credit card reader and the station attendant was rude. And I didn't see the TINY "pay first" sticker on the side and bottom of the panel. But worst of all, the hose leaked and I didn't realize it until halfway through. So my shoes and one leg of my jeans were drenched in gasoline. Very much with the ick indeed! I don't want to get gas again any time soon. Bah.
Watched Master & Commander this morning. It was good. I found it silly in places, and quite predictable. But Paul blew me away. I loved his performance and loved his character- very wonderful, he was. *hugs* And my mother and I spent the movie trying to count how few lines Billy had. heehee! The ship was gorgeous, though. Even if we were asking "What the heck is he doing?" every twenty minutes, the ship was so pretty we couldn't complain *too* much.
I've barely started today's segment of the ObiVirus fic. I'm going to need to work very hard on it tomorrow! But, luckily, no work tomorrow so I should be able to work on it. And I have ideas assigned to each and every one of the days now. They're subject to change, of course, but the ideas are assigned.
Watched/taped 'Joey' tonight. Yeah. Closed caption says [sneezes] but that was barely a sniffle, I tell you! Ah, well, it was still a cute episode. And I got a kick out of the "I feel needed because he's sick!" theme :-)

Not that I don't like forced or close-to-canon slash ships... but it's a nice feeling when you can just enjoy the homosexual sex without worrying about het relationships jumping in there and destroying the yummy. Well, with the exception of those few storylines...
But even without the yummy sex I get so much more out of QAF than most other dramas. The characters and stories are just so incredible and engaging. The sex is just a yummy, realistic bonus that I much enjoy *G*
*is listening to her QAF playlist right now*
