Sorry I've not been keeping up with my LJ. Nothing really important going on apart from work and writing the ObiFic.

-Watched 'Dr.Vegas' on Friday and about 10 minutes into the show I hear a familiar voice. I turn around in my chair and hear "I'm Hal Sparks from Queer as Folk!" and then I SPRINT downstairs and stick a video in to tape him. LOL What a CUTIE he was! Funny and adorable and facial hair *sighs* I totally want him. *drools*

-Speaking of wants... IS IT THURSDAY YET???!!!! I can't wait. I'm looking forward to watching Ewan again on Leon tomorrow night! Happy repeat! I'm taping from before the break this time so I can see the little clip where he's riding and then talking into the camera and playing with his wedding ring. Gods but the man is perfect! Happy sexy interview!!!!

-Watched Anthony Michael Hall on the Late Late Show on, er, Friday maybe? Sucked. I mean, he was good, but nothing special. I think I've been ruined for interviews now after Ewan.

-Oh, and Jude Law on SNL? Taped. Laughed insanely over Ashlee (Hermione was online with me at the time, she can vouch for my being astounded!) What an idiot! And how HORRIBLE that she blamed it on her band! GAH! So not right. I don't like lip synching but I HATE dishonesty!

-I found 'Highlander: Unholy Alliance' in the crappy DVD bin in Walmart this weekend. And I FLIPPED OUT! Two HL episodes made into a movie I'd never seen for only $5? With commentary and extra footage and interviews.. for $5?! HELL YES! I was soooo excited!

-Went to my storage unit on Saturday and spent a couple hours looking for stuff. Found ALL of what I was looking for! I'd left my passport there- BAD idea! Also got my voter registration card (this will be my first time voting in person and I will NOT give the evil republicans in my area an excuse to let me cancel out one of their votes! Bwa haha! I'm really looking forward to voting in person and having my vote COUNT for a change, instead of just an absentee vote that only counts if it was close. Boo that!). I got a small stack of shelves which has part of my traditional halloween costume in it. I put the spiked collar part on my Padfoot puppy for now, though. The Moony pup likes it *G* I must really dig my Collar-fic out when I get done with this Obific! Got some other stuff out, too, but mostly just reorganized the unit. Much needed. It's MUCH more organized and stable in stacks and all now. Happy and clean and yay My Stuff! I miss it so...

-I totally want to see Surviving Christmas! Okay, okay, it's partially because of Ben's character getting sick... (anyone here seen it yet?) But James looks HILARIOUS! I love him *snuggles*

-I hate baseball. Inflated salaries. Steroids. And the game is sooooooooooooooooooooo daaaaaaamn slooooooooow! It's painful. Can't watch it. Full-contact baseball on ice maybe has a chance with me. Ugh. No. Nevermind. Not even that.

-I finally caught The Order on TV tonight and taped it. YUMMY Heath goodness! Haven't watched it yet. I don't have high expectations. But Heath looking all clergy-like. Yeah. I dig it.

-Angel... the series is coming to an end. I don't know how many eps there are left, but every episode I'm on edge. I cried after today's episode. I also missed the episode where Faith comes back into the story. GROWL! My recording got messed up again. So now I've missed about 5 Angel episodes so far- and two of them in season 5. It's bothering me bigtime. But... gods I'm going to sob at the last episode, I just know it. Even knowing what happens... I know I'm going to sob.
OH! But why is it that I find Angelus and William the Bloody SO damn sexy in the FBs? (I just watched the Italy episode yesterday and couldn't stop squeeing the whole time. Totally my kind of episode!) Guhhhhhh! I mean, I usually like the good guys, and probably the fact that I know they become good guys helps... but the evil and the perversions? LOVE!!! *EG*

Yeah, see? Nothing going on. My "boss" came to me today and said "I need to make a webpage. Can you do that?" LMAO! Ohhh yeah. I like much much! *EG*

IS IT THURSDAY YET?!!!! *WHINES* I want Ewan noooooooooow! ;-)

It's from an Ewan interview a year or two ago... Leno I think it was. I'm afraid I don't remember what he was premoting or when it was, though. One of the online galleries had screencaps and I couldn't resist making an icon out of this particular part *G*

LOL!! I totally agree with you on the Ashlee thing. I don't like her anyway. OMG, Jude was so PERFECT on SNL!!! I LOVE HIM!!!!!

Also, pleeeaaase post what you have on the Gravi fic. I don't care if it doesn't have an ending! ^^

Jude was a delight. I nearly died during the Tony Blair part. Not to mention his opening monologue which was FAR too accurate not to love! LOL! Or the "You mustn't go up there!" refrain in the skit near the end. *G* He was fantastic.

As for the gravi fic, I promise you it's 30 minutes away from being finished. I'll try to get to it during the next couple days around the Obific but if I don't it will be my FIRST order of business Nov 1st. It would be really stupid to post it as it is now, though. It's more than unfinished... just not quite finished. I'm sorry.

YES! Oh, how I loved the monologue!! It reminded me of Hotohori from Fushigi Yugi- which ALWAYS makes me happy!

Oh! Have you seen the anime "Jewel Hunter Lime"? It's really cute, but not that deep. In the third episode of the dvd (only the first volume has been released and then it was dropped), the main guy gets sick. He sneezes full screen and complains of feeling feverish and whatnot. He even goes to the doctor about it. Mainly because he hears the doctor is a woman and he's a pervy sort of character. Really funny ep. And in the english, he talks stuffed up for the entire episode!! Sooo cute!!!

I completely agree with you on the whole baseball thing. It sucks. And I havn't heard anything about Ben's character getting sick in Saving Christmas. Maybe it will be worth watching after all. I hear that movie sucked a lot, but it might be worth it to see that.

I haven't *heard* anything about Ben's character (because I don't read the SF forum any more) but there's a scene in one trailer where he and Christina's character are sitting in front of/on a couch and blowing their noses in unison. And in another trailer there's a scene where they're out in the snow. She ends up on her back on the grouns and he ends up on top of her, looking down at her. Then she sneezes in his face. So I'm guessing that means she gets him sick. It's TOTALLY a guess from the clues... but the nose-blowing bit's kinda cute in and of itself.
Personally, I'd watch it just for James. *huggles* And I think the concept is hilarious. Everyone says it's terrible but I've enjoyed crappier movies for less. *points up at the crappy movies she bought on DVD just because Highlander stars are in them* Then again, I've not liked some well reviewed movies... so *shrug* I don't know.

But, yeah, I don't know for sure about the getting sick part. Could just be because they were out in the snow and their noses are running. *shrug*

HOPEFULLY it will repeat! Because I missed his whole entrance and all. It was the Poker Tournament episode of 'Dr.Vegas'(CBS, Fridays at 10pm) and Hal played himself. He was the celebrity host who called the poker tournament. He kept making funny/cute/silly comments. For example, at a particular tension-filled moment he would say "Everyone's on their feet. *I'M* on my feet! Everyone watching at home, up on your feet too!" He'd make comments about particularly hot women and such. There might be a script online of the episode... or it might be possible to find a torrent of it somewhere online. *shrug* It's DEFINITELY worth watching for in the repeats, though! Hal was damn adorable!
