Fic stuff of the day:
- Coded the rest of the fics and updated the Sneezefic Archive. Kept getting errors and it took a while, but finally I updated! Yay!
- Wrote and finished the Charlie sneezefic. I'm posting it in a second
- Read through and wrote a little on one of my Weis Kreuz Ken sneezefics. It's close to being done. Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly how I wanted to end it... growl... but I'll write what I remember and hope it turns out all right
- Wrote a tiny little bit in my James/Sirius nonsneezefic. To anyone reading this... anyone know the name for the top part of castle walls where there are blocks and it's up and down like: []_[]_[]_[] I learned when I was in elementary school but I can't recall or find it on the websites I looked through.
- Read through and edited the drabble-turned-one-shot R/S h/c-ish nonsneezefic I wrote a while ago. It's not good. I can't decide whether to put it on my site or not. It's really not very good... but it's not that bad, either. Ugh. I can't decide. But it's been edited a little better now, so that's good at least.
those castle thingies
Date: 2004-11-03 03:41 am (UTC)ETA: Oooh, I was right, I was right! I just Googled for the term "crenellation" and found this very helpful link from about.com.

On a parapet, the raised portions are called "merlons," and the dips or openings are called "embrasures."

Oh, and while I have you, I did get your e-mail about your fics- thank you for the quick reply. I'll reply to it later today when I'm more awake. I'm running on an hour and a half of sleep at the moment.
And, again, thank you!
